Smoking ..umm..something Blank&Jones

Hey did u see new official site ???
http://www.blankandjones.info

Also what do u think about "The Hardest Heart" original and remixes

Posted by GrimReaper on Feb-10-2003 13:17:

Their site looks very nice, but it's not that new anymore.

They are great producers/remixers but i like more of their older stuff like Cream, Beyond Time, Humate - Love Stimulation (B&J Rmx),.. New productions are just lacking something, can't describe what it is and Hardest Heart is no exception of that. Remixes do make it a bit better, but still not better than ok. All'n'all just an average tune. These are only my opinions though.

They're getting cheesier with every new release!

Posted by Apollokiev on Feb-10-2003 13:31:

Was a dub version of The Hardest Heart ever released, because I remember liking the underlying melody but absolutely hating the vocals

pvd's remix is absoloutly amazing. u can hear it on TPOD

Posted by Paulie on Feb-16-2003 04:19:

Well personally the underlying melody on Hardest Heart is pretty good and the vocals are orrigh takes a little bit of getting used to though. But it does grow on u and i quite like. But like everyone said nothing beats their old stuff

Cream - ch0000000000000000000000000000000000n
Nitefly - ch0000000000000000000000000000000n

Im a fan of B&J and fingers crossed they come to melbourne.

...with 'Watching the Waves' being one of their most beautiful tracks ever!

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on Feb-17-2003 09:13:

yes.. well i still agree that blank and jones' prime was way bakc in the day.. with nightfly cream after love and dj culture

but they still are producing some new stuff.. more and more vocals tho

i would like to hear that pvd remix of heardest heart.. i didnt really like his remix to cream compared to the original

*Drum roll*

i do hope that blank and jones come back to either toronto or montreal

it would be great to see them at a big party!

Of all the Hardest Heart remixes, my heart (no pun intended) goes out to Kai Tracid's mix.
