Tunes that should never hav been remixed?

I don't know if someone has ever posted this before. I didn't bother looking because to many search results came up when I checked.

So what 3 tunes do you think shoud never have been remixed and left in there original glory:

My three are, Cafe del mar - energy 52
Underworld - born slippy
Megamind - Taub

I'm not gonna bother with a proper response then because I'd have to type in too many letters.

Indeed, Breathing is HORRIBLE Remember also True Love Never Dies by Flip 'N' Fill, which ripped off the actually-not-that-bad unofficial bootleg. It's not a remix as such but it shouldn't have been made

Yeah man thats funny. The search turned up about 75 pages of results. You try looking thru that just to find if a thread has ever been posted before.

And what about the Gabriel & Dresden 4 Deep Mix? I feel that one is even better than the Coast 2 Coast one. The original stays best, but I don't think these remixes did any harm to the original.

The Albion remix of Endless Wave wasn't bad IMO. Not better than the original, but clearly not a mess up.

Underworld or Prodigy (Any) (Don't tamper with genious)
The So Solid Crew remix of 'Prodigy - No Good (Start the Dance)' is

Push - Universal Nation
Ralphie B - Massive
Any Chicane (Leave it to the master)

The Ferry Corsten remix gave it a fresh "summer" feeling to that track by layering the main melody..also Corsten's remix came out right before summer 2002, so it worked perfect.

Posted by Breeze on Feb-11-2003 17:19:

Urban Train
Drax - Amphetamine (i heard the rmx of this by some poofta, sounded like shittttttttttttttt!) why do they bother rmxin songs when it songs like dog shit falling from the sky.

its sad to see ppl with the equipment to rmx songs and do i fucked job of it.

universal nation has good mixes, ferry corsten, oliver lieb etc.

chicane - autumn tactics (thrillseekers mix), i assume you forgot about this one?
the rob searle mix of love on the run is pathetic

agree with a lot of these already mentioned
i won't make my own list as far too many tunes are remixed when they don't need it

btw michael woods remix of eugina is amazing, so so good, much better than the tiesto mix as well

Posted by noikeee on Feb-11-2003 22:19:

Second Sun - Empire

pvd rework was bad.

cant think of many others, apart from the whole lot of good tunes that were given cheesy vocal treatment in a second release.

Posted by Johnson on Feb-11-2003 22:59:

The new mixes of Cygnus X - Positron were bad. The Armin mix had a cheesy vocal that isn't in the original. The Marco V mix just didn't really go anywhere IMO. The Original is best.
