new progressive track

This is a progressive remix I recently did for two DJ's I've been working with. Please take a listen an let me know what you think.

Sounds good, though I'm convinced that that main melody distorts at times Was it made in Reason? Because if so I'd be quite interested in attempting a more trancey remix

The distortion is mainly due to compression artefacts you can clearly hear those in the few Kicks...

I used logic, es2, exs24 and some FX to create it.

Wow man this track is very good. It's very uplifting (it's not progressive! ) got to love that melody..
Although, You shold work on the bassline! it's like it's standing on the side without doing anything You should also add more sound effects (not too much just a little more...)

Overall - very nice, awesome melody!!!

nice kik.. but a bit cutted.. that synth is wayyyy too loud, put comp. on it... u need to work on the mastering of this badly.. its really not prog. that distortion is really annoing... the instruments on the track is not well blended... the melody is nice... try mastering it, add more layers of rythm... good luck

thanx for the input... I'll try to find some more rythmic changes.

concerning the level of the melody... it's already compressed. My problem is, if I level it down, id fades into the background... have found no way so far to compensate this. Any hints on that?
