Post your talents and skills

Whether you think it's unique or not. Has it come naturally or is it something you have refined and workd hard to. Do you guys have a knack for something?

I'm a skilled debater. I was a nerd in high school and was on the debate team. I'm really quite good at arguing points.

As for talent, I make the best snickerdoodles ever. For those who don't know what a snickerdoodle is, it's a cookie much like a sugar cookie except cinnamon is involved. I was told my cookies were better than a grandmothers, which to me is the ultimate compliment because grandmas always own in the kitchen.

If you take a random book from my Garfield collection (I have over 30 books) pick a random strip and explain the first panel to me, I will un-erringly beable to complete the strip.

My bro used to use it as a kind of party trick with his older mates

I have a great ability to read people. If I meet a person even just once, and sit down and think about their oppinions and even just the subtle nuances of what they said, I can figure out a lot more about them than most people would even begin to expect. I haven't taken any psychology or sociology classes yet, but I think I will soon just because I show some prowess.

As for random talents, I can snap my fingers so fast that when I snap with both hands, I can snap perfectly rhythmic 16th notes at 280 bpms (for the less musically literate, if each snap I made was a beat, it would be 1120BPMs )

I was also quite a good actor when I was younger, too bad I'm extremely shy and therefore cannot really perform in front of an audience bigger than 10-20 people...

I have a talent for art.

When I was young, I showed fair ability for my age. So I decided to take lessons (sketching, watercolour, pastel, oil).

I then applied for an art program for high school. I got in, and am currently in my last semester. I've done art everyday in school since gr9. I've also done extensive life drawing, with nude models (female and male) so I have a fairly good knowledge of the human body. I also use my fine art abilities in graphical work using computers.

I have applied for 'digital media arts' in college, and am going through the second round test next friday. Hopefully I'll get in there, and continue developing my artistic ability.

oh wow...i would have loved to pursue my interest for art. but it was too complicated for me. long story.
another question, is that college harder to get into that cooper union or risdi?
