Memories of how TRANCE use to be !!!

for remembering trance the way it used to be... I like Paul van Dyk - Live in Vancouver (although I've heard this was actually recorded at twilo)

Paul Oakenfold - Tranceport
^^^ Best selling dance album (dj electronica) of all time
(it's under a million copies if you must know)
Personally I've always liked his essential mixes the best. Havannah and Shanghai fucking own.

I'm so glad I saw Paul O. live in 1998, 2000... His sets are still amazing, but nothing like 1998, 1999.
It is indeed pretty damn good. I've been listening to it (and some of his other earlier sets) on and off these past couple of weeks and I really enjoy them.
Just the thread we need.

Creamfields 1999 - Paul Oakenfold Live @ Space - Paul Oakenvold These are probably the best trances sets of all time. The glory days of 1999.. I'm so glad I saw Paul O. live in 1998, 2000... His sets are still amazing, but nothing like 1998, 1999.Ah, memory is bliss. |

| Originally posted by rabbitjoker I added the Essential Mix in an edit.. I'm now recanting my edit (I hope I'm not wrong)... I believe that the Essential Mix -is- Creamfields 1999. Creamfields (the festival in Liverpool) had Paul O.'s Essential Mix in 1999 - they are one on the same (again, I hope I'm not wrong [I don't think I am]). |
