Why cant i get any recent Paul Oakenfold Live sets? And also why doesnt trance addict had him to the live sets! i know people around the world rip his shit at live sets? Another thing is that whos going to the area one concert? That shit is gonna be off the hook!!!!

.... I dont have the Paul Oakenfold Mp3 but I have the Video of him spining live that Swamp had up for us....
the only oakenfold sets i have are ibiza and creamfields. both amazing sets
Personally, I don't put Oakenfold in the same league as Tiesto, AVB, PVD, etc. I'm not going to get into a debate why, but there's a number of people in agreeement with me here.
FYI, there are a lot of Oakenfold sets floating out there. When napster was working it was easy as pie. I think as of March, there were 3-4 livesets from 2001 available from him. Look on WinMX. I'm not advertising it, but I have a feeling it's going to become the replacement for napster since its so similar...

Area one is hitting up Vancouver's Thunderbird stadium. Its going to kick ass. Headliners include: Oakenfold, Timo Maas, The Orb, New Order, and Moby.

When will people realise he can't mix, I saw him was not that impressed thankfully tiesto followed then tong then BT was one hell of a show course i can barely remember it heh
As for oakey live sets..... He doesnt do hardly anything worth posting and the few sets he has done which are arent recent enuff to post on TA.
Oakenfolds Talen lyes in his producing ability which is quite simply, Amazing. At least most of the time :�

Saw the Oakey/Moby tour here in KC last June. One word:
BLAAAAA!
Sorry, I've got a lot of respect for Oakey and the things he's brought to the table in the past (as well as Moby). But the show was a let down, as was Oakey's show here last Feb. Don't know if he was cracked out or what, but he trainwrecked BADLY 3 or 4 times in his 90 min. set back in Feb., which was unusual considering this guy was supposedly voted the #1 most wanted DJ.
But like the previous guy said, you don't go to hear his mixing skills. He has incredible production and remixes, and you mostly go to hear those as well as his new white labels that he brings to his decks. I've recently downloaded a Galaxy State Side Live set from him, and that wasn't too shabby. Sounded a lot like his old '99 form again, as well as his In the Mix from March.
There aren't any recent live sets because he's going pop! I admit he was once good when he was in the trance world... but listen to bunkka and u'll see what i mean by going pop. Sell out... cares more bout his name than his trance fans. I think he's jus tryin to get his name to the USA more with the pop scene but personally i think he needs to stick to the trance scene.
I have tons of his dance department sets from tis year
i think all of you are partially retarded. go to the hub type oak 2002 and get all kinds of results. and his sets sound nothing like bunkka for those of you that didn't like it. sure he plays some remixes of the bunkka songs but they are totally fitting to the set, sound nothing like the originals.

Also Dance Department on Radio 538 does Oakenfold broadcasts. If any of you paid attention you might actually find this stuff. Also whoever said he isn't in the same league as Tiesto? LMFAO, you think Tiesto can mix??
Anyone who has heard a recent radio show or set will see that he is still in prime form, and his track selection is second to none. Just because you aren't into his new progressive style doesn't mean you have to criticize.
Floorfiller, we'll defend Oakey to the end

I think all of the essential mixes except the recent one, and i dont have his miami sets. I beleive tigerclaw records his monthly (i think) residency sets on miami radio
