I noticed that my comment on the track was a lil short.
So I might add that I love the melodys. =)

I'll add something myself..

Graet stuff!!

Cool little vocals, cool melodies,
i'm listening to minute 2:00 and alittle after it, and i feel a great relexing mood!! like it!!

cool break-beat there, fits well i think, maybe little more shraper sunds for the drums there would make it better.

4:40, COOl prog groovy stuff , at start it seems like its not perfectly fits to the part before it.... but then it becomes ok again

dont know what to say about the last minutes... it seemed kinda repetitive over there...so maybe do it alittle shorter, but i'm realy not sure, i listen only once ....

Great stuff man!

Quality tune again,sir!

Lovely synths used here, they fit very well, and in the breakdown they create a very soothing and relaxing sensation, just the way I like it.
As always, there are just enough elements in the track to keep it interesting and prevent it from monotony, but still not so much that it gets all chaotic in there.

You also seem to have created your own specific sound, displaying heavy influences from prog and trance, yet you never pigeon hole yourself. That's very good.

The only bad thing I have to say about this is that the structure and composition is very similar to Pulling Strings. The way you use the various elements, the way the beats are arranged, and generally the whole mood to the track is very reminiscent of Pulling Strings. Now,this isn't so bad at this point(since Pulling Strings is an ace tune), but you should have this in mind the next time you're going to create a tune like this. We don't want you to end up sounding like a recycler like so many other producers nowadays.

amazing track again, haak! i guess you won't tell us where you found those jp8000 samples?

Posted by Haak on Feb-17-2003 17:32:

i think i got them from www.analoguesamples.com ,they aren't very clean, but they can sound good if you just use short parts

Posted by Passiva on Feb-17-2003 23:03:

Shame I haven't listened yet

I really like the Soft Touch of it! It sounds f***** amazing and professional mate. You're improving every time!

I want more of this stuff. The melody takes me on a trip, the breakbeat part is wonderful.

I WANT MORE

WOW.. Haak your cool!

i enjoy this tune very much!

Posted by tu_face on Feb-19-2003 16:12:

very good haak

a few pooints.. that breakbeat section is minted, but that bassline noise u have doing the stab needs to be a little louder, to make sure it shakes the place

i think the way the breakdown ends needs a little work, it just does the fade off into nothing bit (which sounds wicked) but then it doesnt seem to progress quick enough from there. i think maybe bring in the melodies sooner.. maybe even when the beat kicks back in again..?

all in all tho a quality tune keep up the good work

Posted by mantisnl on Feb-19-2003 16:24:

sounds very profesional man! the only thing is, that i don`t really like this style, i mean, its very nice 2 chill at.. but other than that i don`t really like it
should be good enough for an release tho

Posted by burns on Feb-19-2003 16:48:

Great tune. Nice flow although it seemed as you maybee didnt know were to go when it was in the breakdown, anyways, great tune which carries amazing sounds and features.

Posted by noikeee on Feb-22-2003 16:55:

Thumbs up

brilliant track.. not as good as Pulling Strings, but pure quality as well.

got disapointed just a bit on 4:38, it seems that the track is going to explode, but it doesn't, still doesn't sound bad though.

Now I demand you to send a promo to Bonzai as soon as possible

Posted by FJBR on Feb-22-2003 17:09:

Good tune!

Haak, get ur ass on MSN, will ya...

Posted by Enfuse Dub on Feb-23-2003 03:03:

Best tune ive heard here yet production wise.
9.0/10
One suggestion that will make this tune better imo, is your main melodic loop...change the sound to a darker sound, the current sounds makes the tune seem bipolar, you got a dark beat and stabs and a dirty bassline, then you have this almost uplifting melodic loop...it seems to sound good but it really clashes with the mood that is set with the other parts of your tune. Also maybe one more element like a longer phasing sound in the backdrop of your melody to back up your main melodic loop would sit in nicely. Turn Soft Touch to...Dark Touch
