Techno purists. WANKERS

It's people like these that are killing dance music, with there elitist attitude towards there music.

Fuck them!!!!!!!! All kinds of Dance music (techno, trance or otherwise) shoud be played by anybody and listened too by everybody.

So come on tiesto give us a techno set to stick it right up there arses.

By the way go back to trance afterwards.

Fanaticism in all its manifestations is evil, in politics, in theology, and also in music.

That said, there are plenty of techno purists who don't have a problem with the sound becoming more popular as long as it doesn't become more cheesy along with its greater popularity. Realistically, though, I don't think techno's true sound will ever be lost.

Techno purists do get on my nerves, but at the same time without them techno would struggle. It is much harder to find techno tracks than trance, be it in clubs, record shops or on mp3. Some of these fanatics might have big egos, but I think underground music like techno needs people like this.

Personally I like techno, trance, prog, it depends what mood/situation I'm in.
