Fourteen years of crass and yet intelligent humour... Ah, the Simpsons. I love that show... It's interesting to watch the slow variations in the changes the characters took as they were developed and re-developed for use on the show. Bart looks very different from the Bart we all know and love today. They seemed to have rounded his features a bit than the older version, which is a bit sharper and the angles are more harsh... Yes, I'll stop babbling about animation now. (It's my thing.) I can't help but notice.

Are they really going to end the Simpsons? I heard that they were going to cut off productions of new episodes...

i sort of stopped watching Simpsons the past 2 years. They have replaced intelligent humour about everyday situations into pure sillyness. I'd rather watch SpongeBob

welll simpsons has been around since 1989....none of them have grown a day old and thats what normal sitcoms etc cant do cos people DO grow old and it cant be covered up in those

fans of the simpsons such as us are so attaced to the 10 y/o Bart, 8 y/o Lisa, Marge with only one dress and Homer with blue pants and white shirt that if there weer a change we would all freak out.

i guess what im trying to state is that there is a certain timelessness in the simpsons which is wat keeps us wanting more

Gary Coleman is an exception. He could still play a 10y/o.

Am i the only want that thinks the Simpsons is shit now? Series 1 - 10 are absoloutley amazing. The humour is witty, clever and just funny as fuck. But series 11 is where it started to go downhill. They kept some of the clever and witty humour but there was a definite drop in it, and some of the episodes had shit plots. Then from series 12 - 14 it just keep getting worse and worse As i watch my Simpsons Series 1 and 2 DVD's i keep thinking to myself as i watch a particular part "AHAHAHHA.... *sigh* this is what made the simpsons so great.. why cant we hav more of this nowadays "

See thats whats so great about futurama and family guy. Both hav quit while there ahead.. Oh well.. RIP Simpsons. I hope they dont take the ultimate piss and make a series 15.
