The Prodigy - Experience

Do you remember this disc? I'm looking for more Breakcore stuff, like most tunes from this album (that transition from Breakbeat/HHC to Jungle ).

ps.: It doesn't sound like the tunes from the "Fat of the Land", so I'm not looking for anything like "Breathe" or "Firestarter"... at all

Ahh... Experience...

What a classic...

ah yeah.. memories from the old days, when i loved prodigy.. then fat of the land came out and i started listening to trance because the Experience CD and Music for the jilted generation were different from that..

I also have cd's called old skool mash-ups and altern8 - old skool euphoria, but i never listen to that now

ahhh! I love this stuff too! Finally someone to share the love with!!!
This is the music I fell in love with, it is just so hard to find.
I downloaded all the Prodigy's remixes and b-sides from the 1990-92 era, such quality stuff.
I too am looking for more music that has a similar sound.
I've only found a few songs like

Acen - Trip 2 the Moon Part 3
Hackney Hardcore - Dancehall Dangerous (Remix)

Experience has to be one of my favorite albums of all time!
Ruff in da Jungle Bizzness (Uplifting Vibes Remix), Everybody in the Place (Fairground Remix), We Are the Ruffest, Crazy Man, What Evil Lurks, Android.....oh man....I would so kill to have those on vinyl.
I would actually love to spin this kind of music, just I doubt anyone would listen to me, hehehe

I got SL2 - In a ragga tip and I found it really interesting (it clearly shows the roots of ragga and jungle)... and it's quite entertaining for those most alcoholic moments By the way, Altern8 didn't really please me much - isn't there anything with a little less cheese? Prodigy was great, for example, but Altern8 is a tad bit annoying

edit: My father yesterday asked me what happened to them? (he believes they've gone to hell )

Any ideas? They released "Baby's got a temper" and then what?

was one of their members in a mental houes for awhile? just a rummor

Keith maybe?

Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned is perpetually delayed. and based on what Baby's Got a Temper sounded like, I don't really care, it'll suck.

www.theprodigy.com did get overhauled recently, so perhaps they're getting close to release.

old prodigy is the shit.

Prodigy went back to the drawing board with new album after they saw how shite baby got a temper was. Hence the delay in release.

Prodigy was one of the first 'electronic' groups I listened to. Such classic stuff they put out.

yes sir, experience album is the fuggin shiznit..... this album takes me back soooo much....... id say probably old skool rave and breakbeat hardcore are my favoured styles.......... such a liberating feeling you get when you hear it in a club..... one thing that no form of trance does for me.

experience is undoubtably THE best prodigy album...... there is also a remix album..called.. experience expanded.... it contains unreleased remixes of theier older stuff and other unreleased stuff.

i have a prodigy set live in sweden 94, if anyone is interested, ill try and upload to sum webspace, and post in FSA

beema.... acen - trip to moon (part 1 & 2) is much better than part 3 imo. if your after tracks like this, look out for acen - blue sky day.
rhythm section - dreamworld
ratpack - searchin for my rizla
DJ's unite - vol. 2
praga khan - rave alert
T99 - anastasia
........or anything by Altern 8
