post-PVD breakfast?

lunasea gave me this idea...

For those who will stay til closing, is anyone up for this?

I was thinking of:
1. Cafeteria, which is 3 blocks across town (17 St & 7th Ave), and a bit pricey, but nice;
2. Empire Diner, which 3 is blocks uptown (21 St & 10 Ave) - I haven't been there myself
3. Moonstruck Diner, 23 St & 9th Ave, I dunno if there's any connection to the movie by that name - I haven't been there either

Any other suggestions? lunasea wants a place that offers greasy stuff

I'm not sure of any places that could hold as large a group of people is planned for the pre-PVD dinner. We might also need to be split up among different tables.

For those who are interested, I guess we could meet somewhere in or right outside the club, then head over there.

arty: you really think pvd's gonna be down at 8:15? i think that by the time he ends, and we all meet and whatnot, we'll be at the diner by around 9:15...

taub: street cleaning rules in effect or something?

PVD went til 8:30 am last time. Allow some time for people to get their coats too.
I'm guessing it will be close to 9 am that we'll be at the diner (if you can call it [looks like it will be Cafeteria] that)
Just stay til the end, and you know exactly what time to meet

Most cross streets (i.e. not Aves) between 15 and 22 St's, and 7th and 10th Aves do not have street cleaning on Saturdays.
Look for the streets without meters. Read the signs on the street carefully.
Also, I believe the meters on 7th Ave near Cafeteria don't run on Saturdays. At least on one side (where Cafeteria and Loehmann's are). But again, do check the signs.

daniela: Paul`s set at Roxy will be a 4-hours set, from 2am to 6am. Plus the extra time he always take (~30 more minutes or so.) My predictions is that by ~7:15am (at most) we will be getting out of Roxy.

all the best,

arturo
