BT & Hybrid vs. Space Manoeuvres Bootleg
BT & Hybrid vs. Space Manoeuvres - Running Down The Way Up vs. Stage one.
i just d/led that and its my first time ever hearing this. has anyone else heard this? what do u all think? personally i thought id dislike it cuz alotta bootlegs are shady and put the original tracks to shame. esp when its a bootleg of 2 masterpieces which most ppl consider classics. BUT, i was quite surprised to find myself actually liking it hehehe
i dont even want to claim that its as good as the originals cuz obviously the originals are untouchable BUT, it does seem that whoever did create this bootleg did a perty good of making an above standard bootleg
PS: DONT REPLY TO THIS THREAD SAYING IT SUX WITHOUT EVEN LISTENING TO IT FIRST

i would really like to hear this...lookin for it now...thankx for the heads up...
I'm not really sure I want to hear this...
The "bootleg" was done on the fly, mid set by Hybrid in a radio 1 studio set i believe. Its very good.
yah i thot this was a hybrid thing, not a ghetto bootleg. tis ok, tho i think either/or are better|
Yes, Hybrid played it in a studio mix at Radio 1.
I think its pretty good! I like both of those songs, and they are very well put together
As a rule I dont like bootlegs but this one works.
The original of 'running down the way up' was written by BT, Mike truman (of hybrid) and Kirsty Hawkshaw. It was from a poem 'the outcome' also written by Hawkshaw. The tune was produced by BT and Hybrid.
So I would presume Hybrid had something to do with the bootleg - especially if they are playing it. wonder what John Graham (space manoeuvres etc) thinks of it???
yes miki, i love too
i got it right after i heard it in their studio mix 1
i only have the rip tho from that set.
as far as i know, it doesn't exist

| Originally posted by BLuEOcEaN420 whe u say BOTH versions, do u mean total separtation mix & original? i thought the original wast he one played in sasha's set. i tried looking for the mix that he played cuz that one was the most atmospheric sounding to me but i havent had success. so i was hoping that someone might possibly have the original lol... -BLuEOcEaN420 |

| Originally posted by JdDark actually, as good as that sounds, you're wrong the mixes used on northern exposure are: pariah's shadow lounging mix & space manoeuvre's total separation mix these two mixes were only available on the third promo disc, aka space manoeuvres - stage two |

| Originally posted by Prototrance Really??? I have the Hooj choons CD single of 'stage one' with separation mix and total separation mix on. The version(s) on Northern exposure - expeditions sure sound like both of these mixes together. I know the 1st part of the track on NE - Expeditions is the total separation mix (breakbeat), the second breakdown is exactly the same as that of the separation mix. How similar is this Pariah mix to the separation mix???? ^^^^^Fuckin' hell, how confusing is that!!!!! |
i bet it would be impossible to find the CDS now huh?
