new colors

new colors! getting tired of this black color. Trance is uplifting and good feeling...doesnt fit well with a Black website.

cant see that happening.

Its a proven scientific fact that black, followed by green are the most restful colours to the eyes. hense a black background with green text.

its more a greyey blue, perhaps cyan at half saturation

Hmm.. I have read from somewhere that yellow background with black text is most effective combination but this board style is totally fine to me

Alright! Another shot to try to persuade you guys to change the layout I say keep the black background but change the blue (or whatever shade of blue/green it is). I think changing all the text colors to various shades of green (that are bright enough to be visible) or something of the sort would look more sleek. But the color scheme we have now definately isnt creative... but I guess you cant please everyone

The logo (with the guy with the shaved head) could use a change as well, since its pretty wack/scary and unrelated to trance... but I wont go there right now...

where do you see green?

Posted by Swamper on Feb-21-2003 06:48:

All these opinions but nobody does anything...

How about taking a forum thread, opening up your favorite web editor + photoshop and having fun with colours.

Come up with a scheme of your own - or - better yet - come up with one that maintains a black background but uses other colours for text/buttons - and is easy on the eyes.

Have fun!

Coup, you really should check if the colours are being displayed correctly in your monitor

For me it's a light greyish-blue

Of course it's blueish! I think Coup has problems with his eyes.

Looks like a blue that has been diluted and then bleached too many times

Seriously, that's green? You've got a disco light going above your computer, right?

The thing in the bottom right hand corner after each post which shows someone as being online, that's green. or at least on my flat screen....
