Help!Need present for Russian girl

I just really met this nice Russian girl. So far we have only gone out once and talked a couple of times, but everything is so nice right now. Her birthday is coming up this Saturday. I really want to get her something special. I am defenitley going to give her roses and teddy bear but I wanted to add something a little stronger. Any specific Russian things? Or what do you guys think? Help!

anyways, i wouldnt push the roses so quickly. i dont know where you live, or what roses mean to people. but what ive learned is that red roses mean something serious, and normally you wouldnt give them to someone you just met, no matter how much you like them - trust me, i know.

plus i know (a little) something about girls and the minute you start pushing, the minute they start backing away. my advice, if you think shes great, is just to let it ride a bit. sure, a present is good, but make it something unique and interesting. choclates and roses are somewhat bla bla boring.

now, that said, i dont know what YOU should give her. if it makes you look sweet, and original the better. flowers die, chocolates get thrown away or eaten, make it last|

Don't give her anything too expensive... give her something you know she'll like and original (maybe a CD with songs you know she likes). It has got to be something simple that will remind of you often (i.e. something she'll use in her bedroom). Specially, give her something PORTUGUESE, because she sure has stuff from her homeland.

Ahh ok. My suggestion sounded too cheap...ignore it.
Take her to see a LIVE performance by someone like Tiesto or van dyk.
That will really get her into the music.

I know this Russian Doll...it's called "Babuszka" (pronounced babushka) and it's actually a bunch of wooden dolls that fit into eachother, and they vary in size from smallest to biggest.
Usually six to seven dolls.
Anyways, they are really cute and fun to play with...and totally Russian...it would be a sentimental gift...she wouldn't forget.

You might be able to find them in Eurpean delicatessens.

Is she born and lived in russia or she born or lived here most of her life. Cuz thats where all the difference makes. Cuz if she lived there most of the time she would me kinda more old fashioned. You gotta give her something classy and thoughtful. Maybe like a picture in a fuckin' nice frame of you and her if your guys are together or something in that nature. but if she born or lived here most of her life she is just like the rest of of american chicks. I think if you want her to remember you, don't give her an object. Take her out and have fun, do something she has never done before. You said you are trying to get her into trance music. Why not take her to a club that plays trance. It will be something she probally hasn't ever done, and if she really starts to dig the music she definatly won't forget the night. I mean seriously, who here doesn't remember their first club.
