The reason you hate rap is because you listen to all the bullshit songs! The people who really know good rap don't normally listen to rap songs with videos on MTV or Much Music. They listen to the underground shit. Just like you guys have your tastes in trance but still hate DJ Jean & Alice Deejay. Does that mean that all trance sucks because of a few shitty producers? I didn't think so. Yevat I really liked that song you made and posted in another thread but I just lost all respect for you.................

i think im going to have to agree with Trance Outlaw here, i listen to rap also..and who cares if its easy to make, who cares if its hard?? ..i mean, a super producer can look at a trance song you see complicated and find it very easy, all depends on your point of view, and to me no music genre sux besides (noise) ...noise itself being bands that dont know how to play there instrumetns correctly and so on so on. dude, no more dissin any type of music, and if you are goign to do it anyways, do it constructevly at the very least... id appreciate it i think just as much as the rest of the people on this site well.. your soudning like that dj whatever his name was now.

download some outkast,goodie mobb,luke, or some three six mafia .. even the old deathrow (snoop,dre) is good

I love hip-hop, just not close to how much i love trance. Artists like Dilated Peoples and The Roots make really great music, and it's not easy to make. I have tried it, and it's not nearly as easy as it might sound.
People should be open minded to other genres, and at least not dis it totally if they don't like it. And not all lyrics go like fish, fuck, fish, bitch... Some hiphop artists actually writes meaningful lyrics. U should listen to them sometime

yeah music that has the ol' soul/jazz influence with hip-hop/rap sounds really cool. i love the underground stuff that incorporates jazz/soul into their trackz.
an album called voodoo phunk lionize is great. underground dnb/jungle with a jazz/soul edge. great chill out cd.

everyone has their likes and dislikes when it comes to music. as long as you don't bash a genre mindlessly is what counts.

hi b0bb0 u posted before me, so didnt see ure message... anyhow, my freind in the states loves rap, and ive just recently got him inot trance, he loves it but he had me listen in return to some of his fave rap artists, and they all sound the same?... they just sound the same to me, dont they to most of u?... sure trance mostly has the same skeleton... thump thump thump, but trance has an endless range of creativity... vocals or not! but from what my friends had me listen to, they all have the same music ... (or tpe of old music) in the background whilst a guy raps a bunch of nonsense that i cant even understand..... perhaps if they were SLOWER so u could undertsand them, and if they did more effects to it other then just plain stupid man pitting out poety then yeah, maybe it would be good..... and im sure all ure gonna do is bite back saying, yeah, well that isnt underground stuff u heard... yeah, it might not have been, but look at the commercial trance stuff?... trance being played over the adio doesnt nesessarily mean its commercial... hell, they had Fridge - Angel on te charts at one point i think, but was that ever commercial? it still is considered to be underground in a way!.. so if he had me listen to stuff from the radio and things, doesnt nesessarily means that commercial does it?... so in contrast Fridge was on the radio and isnt considered commercial but still is underground'ish... so the stuff he had me listen to was from the radio which is concidered commercial to some ppl... which in some case is underground as well..... (and im sure the lot of u could have said that in five words, but i just suck at trying to explain something...lol!)
anyhow!... if ya didnt understand, just pretend u did
