U2 - With or Without You.... prog mix!

Whoa... was just listening to a liveset at Proton Radio, and heard a prog rmx of With or Without you. I was completely amazed! Sounds very nice. Anyone else heard it? Or better yet... know who rmx'd it or have any other info. about this tune!?

If you're talking about the one with the female vocals yes I've heard it...and it's the one and only Mr Sam doing the remix.

www.only-djs.com has the record and a soundsample of it. It's actually a decent remake.

yeh i heard someone mention Brothers in Rhythm as well... again I'm not sure!

I've just got confirmation from the Record Store that the U2 remix is by The South Street Players..

I'll create a sample and share it as soon as I get a chance...im a little busy getting ready to go see PvD tonight...

Ya the Brothers in rythm remix is of Staring at the Sun.

Being a big U2 fan I'm really looking forward to hearing this remix, of With or Without You ..

Ah, so this is why when I looked on the hub that 4 out of 6 of my slots were filled with people leeching the "Brothers in Rhythm Remix" off of me... I was wondering why.

On Van Diepens Dance Department a few weeks ago this track was also played. Van Diepen said it was Slyder with Valley of Sound. In this same show DJ Cross played the song in his set. This tracklist is somewhere in the tracklists forum...

I have the vinyl, which i bought a couple of weeks ago. Amazing chilled out prog. Don't know much abt Slyder though. Could someone post some info.

i would love to hear this tune!!
the guy behind slyder is named jeremy dawson. originally from oaklahoma but now living in L.A... he is signed to moonshine records.
i have some friends that are friends with him -so i will ask them for more info!
