GU024 promo (short review)

Finally gave it a listen, I can say the first cd has a nice ambient flow through it, when I listened I wanted more, and I got more when the second cd starts, the first cd was good but nothing special imo, it could have been done better, but the second cd blows everything that the first cd lacks away, known warren style, progressive trance with long synths and basslines, and that vector - rise track, brilliant!
All in all A great compilation from the man warren, but it's still a promo, let's hope he does something more with the first cd in the final release

I'm on the same boat. CD 01 is good, bt CD 02 is with out doubt amazing, Tracklist say's it all, the flow is also great.

this is one of the best GU's out there! i think on the same level as Gu021 and 023
love both cd's

got too agree whith you guys on that .. excellent compilation

One of the best GUs since Digweed's LA. While CD 1 was on the chill side, I think it flowed very nicely, creating a very good atmosphere and warmup for CD 2. CD 2 is true Warren style, Progressive trance with beautiful synths, effects, and vocals.

8.5/10

is this mor eof the same old same old gu style cd? in alot of ways it's sad that if gu survive that in 10 tyears we will have 15 gu's from nick warren, sander k & the rest of the bunch. Im not saying their bad dj's just that someone needs to get some originality over @ the gu headquaters.

kinda off putting.

i agree , these cds are both awesome .. a nice ambient/triphop style at nr1 and the second is Nick Warren at roots ..

Saw Nick Warren last nite and at the start of his set I think he played most of the new GU because it was a very ambient start, but he soon warmed up, excellent DJ

I'd love to go to reykjavik for a trip. anyone ever been or know anything about the club sceen there?

I've only listened to CD 2 once, I liked it, but I keep finding myself listening to the first CD.
It's got some fucking beautiful tracks on it.
Ulrich Schnauss - Nobody's Home does it for me everytime. Such a fucking awsome tune.
I need to stop listening to the first CD and force myself to listen to the second CD again.
This is definatly going to be a great album when it comes out.
I'll be one of the first to buy it.
