best winamp vis plugin? -> milkdrop

who else loves this plugin... i could sit and watch it for hours. geiss used to be my fav, but this milkdrop thing blows it out of the water. every time i use it there's some effect ive never seen before.

milkdrop, anyone.. anyone ? bueller?

yah tis good. actually its just the next iteration of geiss, so its not that far removed. just a bigger group of creators.

goto www.milkdrop.co.uk and get the newest visfx...good shit. actually someone that works �n the vis fk industry in clubs, and on milkdrop posts on TA sometimes. cool guy.

Milkdrop all the way.

It's just amazing, I have it running on my monitor and TV at the same time. Love the way u can customise messages to appear across the screen as well.

I'm gonna run it in my car with a couple of laptops in the rear-shelf, that should result in a few accidents, lol.

A lot of clubs could do worse than use this for visuals.

You can even use it as a animated wallpaper. Just full screen it and then press the windows key.

is it just me, or does milkdrop not work with winamp 3??? i'm having problems setting up the visualization stuff to work in winamp3 because it asks for .avs files... what do i do?

i used winamp 3 for a while and hated it. i use 2.8 now and probally wont change.

they make interesting visuals. they put moving patterns and images on the screen in time with the music. i still say milkdrop is the best. tripex looks cool but there aren't nearly as many effects. i have ~2000 visuals in the milkdrop folder

and winamp 3 did suck. not sure why. i went back to 2.8 in a hurry

A tip for you all... Punkie!

Run it in 8-bit mode and turn the beatmatching to most sensitive before you start. It's the most accurate beatmatching I've ever seen from any plugin.

Play Joykitikonti - Joyenergiser (Physical Mix) and you'll see what I mean
