Sony PSX + PS2

i'm trying to write a paper about sony and globalization.... i was wondering if you guys have any statistics on sony. Specifically the number of psx and ps2 units that have been sold since their inception.

i've tried looking for this info for a long time but i can't find it.

also if you found it on the net could you please include the link?

i doubt anybody would have the article where sony's ceo nobuyuki idei discusses the future of sony in regards to piracy and other pressing concerns. But if you do have it please help!
