I've noticed a lot of DJs wear caps, and I now understand why: When you're dealing with headphones all the time, hair gets in the way

it's terrible
next time I'm mixing, I'll be wearing one of them baseball hats

helps isolation, and helps for comfort. i dont have very comfy headphones

after I spin, I look like a goof.
I look even worse in a hat or toque

several local DJs who are known for things like this(and mock it as well) carry hair gel in their record cases to fix the problem. Its become a joke more than anything now, but hey..ya gots ta look good for dem DJ whores.

i dont wear one to mix, no need lol, but i do wear one when i go to HMV and the record store coz the headphones are fucking awful and u don't know what creepy crawlies are lying behneath, for example last night in newcastle hmv, there was some guy who looked homeless on the end left deck and he was full on scruffy + not washed for a year or ten, had this 1 house tune playing with the pitch, +8 to -8 then back to +8, all the way though, would u fancy going on that deck after him lol.
