Atcr Indemand & Unreleased Ep

Taken from ATCR web:
ATCR are pleased to anounce the track listing for the first two of four planned 'Indemand & Unreleased EP's' in 2003. The first will feature the 'missing' Astral mix of Pulser's 'Cloudwalking'. Tiesto's mix of choice, it was left off the recent re-released package but will occupy pride of place on EP # 1. Matthew Hill's, Armin battered LiquidLife remix of Insigma's 'Open Our Eyes' & the Chillseeking remix of 'Circa-Forever' will complete the 12. EP # 2 will feature the Goldenscan remix of Insigma & the now highly sought after and long deleted En-Motion remix of Free Radical's 'Surreal'. Both EP's should be avaliable May 2003.

INDEMAND & UNRELEASED EP # 1

A: Pulser 'Cloudwalking' (Astral Mix)
B1: Insigma 'Open Our Eyes' (LiquidLife Remix)
B2: Rapid Eye 'Circa-Forever' (Chillseekeing Remix)

INDEMAND & UNRELEASED EP # 2

A: Insigma 'Open Our Eyes' (Goldenscan Remix)
B: Free Radical 'Surreal' (En-Motion Remix)

i am very confused with cloudwalking... will the very original mix (the one on TCOMM005 i think) ever be released again? coz the latest cloudwalking release, which has the beatpushers mix, whatever mix is on the a-side is definitely not the original mix, despite what it says on the sleeve.

I was wondering the same when i saw the post...guess we'll have to take this to Tim @ ATCR!

Word is that the Astral Mix is the version that is the last track on Tiesto's Magik 6. If so, who cares about the original

no, word is that ATCR botched the TCOM024 release and pressed the astral mix onto the A side of that. the one tiesto plays in magik 6 has always been called the original mix. this is confirmed by tim stark himself over at ATCR message board.

heh. this thread is old. i understand whats happened now. the TCOMM005 vinyl was mislabelled. The Original Mix was infact the Astral Mix whereas the Astral Mix was actually the Original Mix.. so when atcr re-released cloudwalking, everyone was like... err wtf is this! But now the decent mix, ie. the Astral Mix, the one that tiesto played on magik 6 and at amsterdam rai back in the good old days is being re-released on EP so all is good again

hmm..i suppose that could be true. now looking back at what tim stark said, it wasn't very clear which vinyl was mislabelled.

the thing i find odd is that the "astral mix" (the one in magik 6) has more of a pulser sound to it. the bassline, the hi hats all resemble pulser's work much closely than the "original mix"

don't you all agree?

i agree. infact the person that told me the story of the misprint on tcomm005 i didnt believe them, for the same reasons u just listed. The astral mix seems to hav the classic pulser sound to it. but i asked andy perring himself and he confirmed that the tcomm005 was the fecked vinyl.

Posted by Narcissus on Apr-11-2003 03:13:

Well, comparing the new astral mix with new pulser tune My Religion they sound similar so i believe it's the re-release that messed up with the labeling...anyway..
