how many people have you addicted to trance?
i got two metallica fans listening to trance, one of them really serious - downloads gigs of it and constantly listens to B&J - live @ trance energy 02/03. the second guy is not really that serious, i think, but he asks me where to download stuff, so i think he likes it.
plus two people indirectly - they hung out at the first guy's house with me and one of them is a fan of tiesto now, and the other one, a hardcore rap & eminem fan, listens to stuff like lasgo, some tiesto/etc. cds that first addicted guy gives him, and i recommended him marco v too.
also there's this 5th guy, who occasionally listens to the songs i sometimes talk about, but he's more into enigma & tribal fiji songs, lol.
what are you responsible for?
many but, i dunno for how long
nice Av tech
think ill put rab in mine
go for it, i used t have him in ma sig but i bumped it off
hey, come on now, no thread hijacking!

i got one of my friends who listens to death metal mostly, to ask me to mix some cd's for him, he likes mostly the progressive trance stuff.. funny is that he got me also to listen a bit of death metal, honestly some tracks are really good, f00kin skilled guitar melodies, just the wank vocals spoil 90% of the tracks.
then there's also other friend who is a extreme eminem and mtv fan, but still asks me for some trance cd's once in a while. likes the cheesier stuff.
but didn't get the luck till now to fully convert someone to be a tranceaddict.
ah, almost forgot: some 2 wannabes asked me for one house cd, one trance cd and one techno cd. i warned them that techno wouldn't probably be what they expect, still they wanted it. so i burned that cd with some umek, mauro picotto, adam beyer stuff
they didn't like that cd, "too repetitive apart maybe from picotto tracks", but asked me for another trance cd: "that is the stuff were looking for"
i burned another cd around the same style, but strangely they didn't liked it as much
I only addicted myself.............
I am dj'n for my college radio station. Everytime someone calls in, I mention tranceaddict.com for all the good stuff. Hope that helped out
2-3 I think
definatley under 5
hehe
I think my sister is becoming a prog-head
I wish... She listens to MTV crap, just like her friends... I'm amazed at the fact that they consider stuff like Nelly, J-Ho, Bichney Speartits and others, to be good. I mean WTF? J-Ho is making a new song every 15 days FFS, and if she actually put any effort into it, instead of singing "I'm real" and "I'm good", it would still sound shitty... Ugh...
I think I'm the only one within a 15-mile radius who listens to trance... I'm not surprised.
i am now up to 6 people (hopefully more to come)
always working hard to expand the love.

I conquered 2 people! Mwahahaha!!

i've had many people addicted to certain songs but tranceaddicts...just one,who turned to like the cheesy stuff after all
I've gotten three or four just in the past month.
The issue with trance is that to most people, they only know of one type...the real hard, repetitive stuff. But once they hear what I listen to, they get into it and start asking for names of tracks and everything.
I would say I've gotten at least 25 people, over the past few years, into it. Not all of them hardcore into it, but hey...it's a start.
I've been trying to addict some of my buddies, and it's not gonna work like it did on me. Whenever I'm chillin and smoking a spliff with some mates we all take turns putting on tunes. Usually we go through some hip hop, some punk/rock, and then when my turn comes I'll put on some trance. The problem is, people tell me it's too intense!? WTF!?!?
I lost count
(including people who are now techno-addicts, drum'n'bass-addicts, breakbeat-addicts, house-addicts and one lad became a hardcore-addict
)
4 rappers..lol including my parents
The way it works for me you see...
I pay for my friends to come see DJs, and they pay for me to go see punk/hardcore bands with them. Since the DJs are more expensive, they get me high and drunk to make up the difference
Just perfect.
I find that people into other types of music will tend to like prog more easily than trance. Does anyone else find this also?
