Darren Tate - Synergy Fall
Typical solid production from the current trance phenomenon that is Darren Tate. Nice melody and minimal vocals.
Can the man do any wrong?

well I liked the Opera Song, not at first, but the tune grew on me
Charlotte Church has this amazing voice .. gotta love it.
.. but I dont like the Jurgen Vries feat CMC - The Opera Song (Brave New World) version .. thats a rip off IMO

cheap video comes with it
Well heard Synergy Fall, and I dont know why, but it reminds me of Ben Liebrandt - War Of The Worlds .. maybe just the synths in the melody. Anywho seems like hes getting a little help from Charlotte Church in this one also. Over all a nice track and I love the little break loop that comes once in a while
sounds like a trance cover of some sountrack of a movie about the knights... you get the idea. robin hood, camelot, sir arthur.
you get the idea.
i need to listen to this more: such tracks don't grow on you at once.
this tune reminds me a lot of 'The Theme' for some reason. even though its produced under a different guise

not his best production ..
I like this - its a really nice riff. apparently its 3 years old which probably means its showing its age production wise

I like the song... but i don't understand how people can blame a producer for producing songs that sound similar. Ok.. so svenson & Gielen took it WAY to far, but there's enough of a variance in this particular production that the similarity is negligeble. just my take... 8.33/10
I cound't agree with you more. When you come to think of it, before 1980 and the birth of synths every decade or genre had the same arrangement, same instruments - it was just about the lyrics and melodies. Now everyone has to keep re-inventing the wheel everytime or face being criticised, even though the music is completely different. I mean hoe many Ferry tracks were there that had the same arrangements and noises in? Basically nearly all of them! But at the same time the "music" makes them unique.
People need to be careful about this kind of critic - because maybe all the producers will stop putting the kick drum on every beat and then all hell with break loose
The synths midway into this track remind me of Sonic Inc.'s Taste of Summer track from a while back...which is good and bad. Good in that I really like Taste of Summer, bad in that I have to ask why listen to this Tate track rather than revisit an old friend?
This isn't a bad effort, but Darren Tate has done much, much better stuff.
