Traktor 2.0 and Dual Souncards Question
Hello,
I would like to know how I can set up my 2 soundcards so that one deck is in the phones, and the other deck is in the speakers. I am using Traktor 2.0 Studio..
1) soundcard - Creative Audigy - I want this one in the speakers
2) soundcard - Asus A7N266-c on board Nvidia - I want this one for the phones..
Thank you very much,
Hmmm I'm not sure about this, but I think only Traktor 1 supports 2 soundcards... this is traktor 2's major flaw. Again, not sure, but I remember reading some threads where people were all pissed off 'cos that option was removed...
Cheers!
PS - I used Traktor 1.0 for 1 year before I moved to hardware, and I must say Traktor 2 isn't that great. (Used 1 hour and then quickly got back to 1.0 lol
)
I have the same question. I remember that in the set up somewhere you can designate where the various inputs/outputs go to. You can for instance select which O/P for monitor, etc.
Also, I'm pretty sure Traktor 2 does support 2 soundcards. It would be pretty retarded if it didn't.
Traktor 2 DOES NOT support two cards...unless there's been a change in 2.3 which i havent got yet..no 2 crads.Stick with multi-channel support(try to figure how to work it out on the system properties).
back to traktor 1 I guess.....anyone want to hype this decision up for me....is traktor worth the change if I can't use 2 soundcards...or should I go to traktor 1?
IMO, stick with version 1. I'm a big fan of version 1, and I don't see that much of improvements in version 2. It features 2 soundcards, has keyboard shortcuts, and you can do nearly all the same things!
