Does anybody know why Terrorists attack?

OK so weve had people bombing and attacking countrys for a long time now. Does anyone know why??? Like what reason does someone have for going to all that effort? Lets use Taliban vs Us for starters.

well a couple possible reasons for muslim hatred for the US are:

US support for Isreal

US support for oil companies which keep a strong and incredibly unequal division of rich and poor

US involvment in Iraq (which has a whole slew of reasons why muslims would be upset with america)

American values and culture is radically different than muslim thus with a religion which has many sects that are very intolerant will will cause them to hate the US on religous grounds

and i'm sure there are many other reasons out there.
now combine all these reasons with a crazy radical like Osama Bin Laden who is a power thirsty tyrant in his own way and you get terrorism (and etc..)

as it's been said
the US support of Israel
US oil interests
US presence in Saudi Arabia, which is one of the main reasons of Bin Ladens hatred, as it's home country....

They dislike the west because they arn't arab, and because they support isreal. But they attack because those views have been magnified by the terrorist groups, and they have been taught that killing us, will lead them to having a better afterlife. Also some people do it to provide for their family.
