Converting a Hip Hop Friend to Trance

I never really care about trying to convert others to the music that I like unless they ask me to show em some stuff. Well I have this friend who is pretty open minded about music although he is cultured in the "hip hop" world or muscial culture. We did some shrooms one day and I popped in a Trance Cd and ever since then he's been asking me to hook him up with stuff. Of course I've been happy to oblige!

Well he obviously holds a lot of the stigmas that are attached to the party scene of trance. So i'd thought I'd share this coversation we had which I find pretty funny and interesting:

Hehe, I actually read it in its entirety and it is quite amusing. Some people seem to regard drugs, especially E, as being an inseperable part of the kinds of parties we enjoy going to. Yet they seem to disregard the gun-toting and/or drug-using guys at their concerts and such. It's rather funny, really. You mention chronic, Courvoisier, guns and bitches; they're fine. But mention one letter (E) and the 'thugs' pussy out. No worries though. The stigmas will always be there.
I'm glad to hear that he's seen the light, though. Hopefully he comes to PvD @ Viva on the 20th, gets blown away and never looks back. Keep it up, Az.

hehe, good job there Az Definately bring your buddy down for PvD. Then he's gonna see what a real party is like

it's soo hard to convert someone, get them into, or even appreciate trance. they always say it's too repetitive, you can't grind with a bitch to trance. and everyone say the whole massaging each other thign at raves is just too gay for em.
