Too many mp3's?

Do any of you have so much trance songs that you havent had time to listen to them all yet, plus you keep downloading new ones?? I have that problem and it kinda pisses me off. Oh well, more trance the better.

no... i'm not an archiving whore. always listen to what i download, always delete what i don't listen to.

even tho i like to get my hands and ear on all the new stuff as soon as possible

i would have to say that is me...not so much on the singles, but livesets i have tons that i've never heard. i think i just like the idea of having all of them hehehe. when i do listen to them though i mix them all up hehehe.

Posted by brian on Mar-03-2003 22:26:

Sometimes that happens to me, though about 90% of the time I download stuff I'm specifically looking for.

I usually take about 3 or 4 hours out of my weekend to just sit back and listen to stuff I've never heard before.

It's quite therapeutic

hehehe this is the worst feeling isn't it... that always happens to me because i don't like burning sets without cueing everything and making them all nice, but lately i've just been like...fuck it..and burning stuff in one track. i mean when i do listen i just listen straight its not like i'm flipping around...

I have this problem with sets. I have so many sets on my harddrive but I never have the time to burn them.

I burn alot of stuff and listen to it during classes with my mp3cd player. I also listen to stuff when I'm driving and while studying. My roommate makes fun of me cause I always have my headphones on.

Due to limited hard drive space, I have to listen to everything I download so I can decide to either get rid of it or make room.

It's a bit of a pain, but I end up with quality over quantity.

i AM an archiving wh0re, hahah... i dunno why... i always download entire albums... even if i only like half the songs... there's something unsettling about an incomplete album...

Posted by KilldaDJ on Mar-04-2003 01:09:

Red face

ive got over 1800 mp3s...
been forced to archive em onto cd

im sure many have like 800cds of music...

ha ha, yeah, that pisses me off too.

i burn almost everything i download (except for really bad rips with clicks and shit ... see my signature). you never know when your tastes may change and something you don't like now, you will like in the future.

Posted by jinxed84 on Mar-04-2003 01:29:

yup im definetly an archiving whore. i made a playlist of all the songs on my harddrive a couple months ago and it was over 1700. add my CDs of mp3s i will never listen to cause a ton of them are ripped internet radio and i probably have about 2500. i often wonder why i keep them if i dont listen to them..i dunno some people collect stamps, i collect music

i usually only listen to newer stuff, once something gets put on my neat foldered organized drive its usually forgotten, what a shame

I do this exact same thing. Sometimes I listen to about 6 hours of music a day.

Posted by Prototrance on Mar-04-2003 01:43:

Yes this is me - I have now created a 'new downloads' folder that I make sure I listen to.

7 GB worth of MP3's so far, with at least 50 GB to fill up yet!

Posted by Nadi on Mar-04-2003 02:11:

Its also unsettling to not have the full release of something, i.e if I have one mix of a song I need to have the otherside of it as well, one weekend I should probably listen to everything and get rid of the bad stuff :P

Posted by TrAnCeAkI on Mar-04-2003 02:17:

i can never have too many i listen to em all!!!! mostly cuz i get the ones i like!!!! but even if they arent mint i will still listen to em!!!!! IIIIIIIIII cant get Enoughhhhhhhhhhh!!!

When I dl a song a listen to and decide if I want to keep it or not. So I don't really have a bunch of songs I don't listen to, but I do notice that one week all I might listen to is cosmic gate then it'll be dumonde, flutlicht.
