just got my first 9 records .. opinions?
just starting to spin
grabbed a few of my current favs to get the collection started.
u can pretty much tell what ill be spinnin by the tunes.
tell me what u think(im no simcut so be nice)
dj tiesto - flight 643 (love it)
mauro picotto- like this like that (higher voices mix)
pep n up - time and space
voodoo and serano - slide to the vibe (baller style)
system f - out of the blue (6 song for 10 bucks) value buy
sound dezign - happiness
members of mayday - 10 in 1
utah saints - lost vaugeness
chicane - autumn tactics (thrillseekers mix)
i need some harder vinyls .. got a lil too much vocal/uplifting shit .. need some harder more bangin nrg shit
suggestions? good example being henes and cold -
the 2nd trip (dj scot remix) its exactly the kinda songs i wanna be spinnin

I prefer Urban Train to Flight 643, system F - out of the blue is a classic and always will be a great track 
Members of Mayday 10 on 1 is cool, it samples a band from the 80's that i detest which is Depeche Mode but they did it well and the depeche mode sound works well in 10 in 1
I have liked everything Chicane has ever done, another good choice there
The Mauro Picotto track, like this like that is all over the clubs here in the UK at the minute, going to be overplayed that one i feel and will lose its edge
Utah Saints - lost vaugeness , i got this track too and got to say i only played it once, it did not get me if u know what i mean
the Oliver Lieb mix is better but again it did not really grab me
so IMHO i dont like it
where as Sound Dezign is the total oppisite, that one did grab me and is a constant on my play list, cool track 
Pep n up - not heard that one yet . . .
Voodoo and Serano - slide to the vibe , not my cup of tea that track really, its not a fav of mine again i played it once and never had the inspiration to play it again
SO i take it you are going to be mixing these tracks ?
would be cool if u could rip it to MP3 and let us have a listen to it
we could then give u feedback on your style and technique as we do to bellie on here
Good tunes, but most of them are peak-time tracks ... and playing only stuff like that can make your set sound boring although each track by itself is pretty good (the "too much candy" effect). I know that you just started buying viinyl and that it is very tempting to pick out tracks like that (everybody did it at one point), but try to look for some "filler" tracks, like some groovy percussive tunes ... maybe even venture into techno. It will make the floor-filler songs have a lot more impact once you play them.

As you say, you want to spin a bit harder and you already got something like Hennes & Cold - The Second Trip
Just bu their new one Hennes & Cold - Sound Of Rock or Nordlicht - Cry (Hennes & Cold Mix)
But something extremely hard is DJ Mirko Milano - Stopp & Go or DJ Promo - Life From The Other Side
