my final address to these issues...

this is from my last thread, and I put alot of effort here to say what needs to be said as a final time. I don't like these arguments if you think I do... BUT this is what needs to be said! I want this to be a reference for anyone who argues with me or melech_mike about the facts of the middle east conflict. And to those that say why do we spend so much attention on this? There is a massive campaign of misinformation and propaganda to make the Israeli's and by simple direct defintion, the jews, to look like murderers. Since the middle east is such a big issue right now, basically the only world wide issue discussed at large right now, I feel as being from Canada, with the truth readily at hand from experience, I have an obligation to show it to my friends here at tranceaddict.com!!!

here is the post! From now on... when anything comes about Israel, I will not say more then facts and give out sources and try to correct errors. I must say I have learned a lot in the last few weeks on this board from many of you! so thank you and I hope we can keep up the flow of things here, so that way we will all be clear all on subjects that can be resolved here!!!

About Deir Yassin, here is a long article with 157 sources. Obviously that means nothing to you!! And how many massacres happened against the jews from the same arabs??? the massacres JUST in the 30's even ??? You are one sided in your unjust hatred! If your logic is that we massacred in DEIR YASSIN, then by the same logic shouldn't you scorn them for their massacres of jews from the early 1900's onward??? He describes an encounter with Deir Yassin survivors and Palestinian leaders, including Hussein Khalidi, the secretary of the Arab Higher Committee, at the Jaffa Gate of Jerusalem's Old City.

"I asked Dr. Khalidi how we should cover the story," recalled Nusseibeh, now living in Amman. He said, "We must make the most of this". So we wrote a press release stating that at Deir Yassin children were murdered, pregnant women were raped. All sorts of atrocities."
A Deir Yassin survivor, identified as Abu Mahmud, said the villagers protested at the time.
"We said, 'there was no rape.' Khalidi said, 'We have to say this, so the Arab armies will come to liberate Palestine from the Jews'."

This is the final straw. We have brought out the facts, and been faced with attacks based on hatred and nothing more.
