I cut my dreadlocks today

I had been growing my hair since august 2001 , and worked on the dreading since january 2002

my hair was never this long

and this afternoon I cut it

my head is so cold and now I'm so uncool

any hat suggestions ?

grrr I'm gonna save my dreads in a box

too bad the hair had to go

dude,i had dreadlocks and i was depressed for about a year after i cut them off, i still fucking miss them a lot. aww this made me sad. darn you. Youll always wonder if it was the right thing to do...there is a time for everything though, and dreads cant thrive in this capitalist world

I got offered a job as network administrator for a healthy lump of cash a year...not bad when you are in college. So i hacked em off, made some cash, and left hehe. It was worth it I guess, but i still miss the commercial-like coming out of the lake near my house and shaking water from my dreads. Chicks loved em too! argh

i washed them several times a day. just dont use shamppos with detanglers. I used bar shampoo specifically for dreads. Mine were uber clean, and the girls liked the smell

lol, jdat, i know what you mean...

i was growing hair june 2001 - may 2002, no dreadlocks. but the tips of my hair (about 1-1.5 inches) were blond from whenever my team bleached them, so everyone was calling me "goldielocks" lol

but yea, it was a pain in the ass to wash + dry them... and my head was really cold & weird afterwards, but it was so much easier to wash it. i miss my hair
