Not to brag... but...

This is no sh!tter, I swear! I just picked up a RedBack from GC for $1060!!! Some schmuck traded it in - it was perfect shape (from what I found out, less than 2 months old) - with boxes and all and not a single nick on it! I thought I was dreaming. I knew the kbd mgr and he hooked me up big time! he sold it for what they paid for it. Amazingly enough he didn't even know they were limited edition! OMG, I thought he was joking I paid for it right away and ran from the store to make sure he wasn't chasing me. On the way home I remembered that I needed some cables and came back. Well, apparently the same guy who sold this gem also sold his Electron Machinedrum too! I saw it on the coutner and asked "Since when do you carry Machinedrums" - he said "We don't - The same guy sold this one as well".
I bought that as well - brand spanking new shape for $700!!! It was like a friggin x-mass. Who cares that my credit cards are now maxed out? I think I got a hell of a deal...

Sweet! Mine looks just like yours. Btw, your monitors must cause one heck of resonance on those flimsy unpadded stands. As a matter of fact, the pads won't help either, as I found out myself. Had to move my monitors back to the stands coz my entire desk resonated when I'd play base or drum line.

nah ive had no such problems at all really, sounds very nice and its no resonance or whatsoever, its very stable. Sometime soon i might buy the alesis s1 sub as a complement to the monitors.. then it will be another discussion
