i just have a general question .. why is it than whenever some people here talk about the drugged out ppl at Viva, they have to refer to them as "asians" all the time. I mean don't get me wrong, I know the vast majority of them are, but i've also seen cracked out old 50 year old persians and south asians before at Guv, as well as cracked out old 40 year old white people at concerts. the point is, I don't have to make it a racial distinction when I write a review.. i mean i'll just refer to them as cracked out ppl. I just think that by always having to address them as cracked out old 40 year old asians it gives a lotta asians including the ones on this board a bad name and it's really not fair for us either. Many of us here don't practice the same kind of habits as some of these undersireable people (and nor do our parents!). Believe me I don't like the sight of them either, but I try not to keep thinking about it. Even after going to Guv so many times, yes there will be "ginos" there.. but I can't let that ruin my experience. You gotta bring your own vibe.

.. i don't feel like reading all the flame in a thread - when i want to read a review only.. most of that bs can be solved over a pm.. (this way we don't have to read it)

.. i mean there's always gonna be drugged people at raves and we/u can't do shit about it - let them do whatever they want to their life - it's their life not yours..

.. every review of a party has to contain some crap about people being so mashed that they don't even know which dj is spinning - not even mentioning what music he's playing..

.. i go to a party to have a good time (with my friends).. i don't go to party to look at all the other fuct people (broads are an exclusion) ..

.. if i like what my ears hear and the people i'm with at a party, nobooooody can bother me and ruin my atmosphere, cuz i'm there to groove to the music, not to judge other people..

desidel...I've touched exactly same topic in the review...didn't know about this thread. Can't be bothere to repost it, but generally people need to grow up...or stay home. I think Viva is a great club, security and staff are outstanding, management is amazing and always trying to improve the club, asians dominate, but I couldn't care less, never had any problems with any1, on the contrary people are very friendly. Tis all about mutual respect, so far I've never ran into any assholes there, but if I ever will - it'll most likely be their bad luck, not mine... ;-) Treat others the way u wnana be treated...

And Tatgirl, it was nice seeing u there again, unexpected (haven't checked this site for a while ;-) ), glad u recognized me.

huh? i remember those Lifeforce parties back in the 90's and there were dosed out asians sitting on the floor, some of who i knew personally ! i think that's always been man ..

To be honest, the drugged out ppl at Viva have NEVER BOTHERED ME! However the one's at Guv have (not saying the Asians cause they are not the only ones there who are trippin big time). From my expoerience the one's Ihave encoutered at Viva were actrually just asking if u are having a good time. Where as the one;s at guv always bump into u like they own the danceflor. Just my 2 cents.

Those "cracked out" people doing drugs who don't seem to care about the music are more than likely the regulars at Viva. They keep the place alive and pay Viva's bills. I thought it was a great party and I had a great time, possibly because I spent 98% of my time with the TA's up front (which you whiners should have also done), but in all honesty the crowd did not bother me. Most of the people seemed pretty polite, they were letting me through and saying "excuse me" when trying to get through. That's all I ask for in a crowded place.

I agree with everything said here. At Viva, I make my own fun, surround myself w/the right people, and ignore all the rest. No one really bothers me there.

We're all there to have a good time, right? I'm not one to automatically assume that just because someone is mashed, he or she is not enjoying the music.

You don't -have- to dance to enjoy music, I know I dance like a fanatic at parties, but I don't dance to music at home or on the train or at the gym. So the druggies (Asian or otherwise) have a different way of having a good time. So what. They're still really nice people. I mean damn it, people on E are the friendliest people you'll ever meet in your life. It's totally not my style to get mashed and sit through it, but that doesn't mean there's something "wrong" with it.

Now if they're coming solely for the purpose of getting fucked up then that's not so good... but I think a lot of us, when we see someone like that, automatically assume that it's the only reason they came, which isn't necessarily the case.

The thing about clubs is that everyone's there to have a good time. I've never gotten better vibes than vibes at a club. I personally dont mind the drug use.. as long as its not at the cost of others' good times, which it doesnt't! So all hail the good times
