Great ATB sets?

Greetings,

I am turning my ears more towards ATB due to the fact that just about everything I have heard of him is absolutely amazing. Given that everything I have heard of him is fairly old, does that mean that ATB has depleted his creative abilities, or does he still play some decent sets? I guess what I am trying to ask is, what are ATB's all time greatest live sets?? (I want to go download happy ) Thanks!

ATB and great livesets doesn't always go, tho look for one from ID&T Radio in 2001, not too bad for him, but usually he's fairly dodgy

I dont't know if that is an oxymoron.... Clubber's guide to trance Disc 2 is fairly good, at least in my opinion. To each his own, hehehe.

ATB was good for his time... esp. during the time trance/dance music was becoming more commercial. ... but other then his productions, i find his sets to be weak and more geared to people who go clubbing to drink and party rather then for the music.(theres nothing wrong with drinking and partying, but i just find ATB way to commercial for me... but i def. do think he was a musical genious when he came out with those guitar sounds... but he has def. fall'n off the TRANCE DJ/PRODUCER map.... IMO)

a good ATB set.. hmmm not that ive heard... ive heard that Ministry CD that you mentioned but nothing about sets..

Sounds to me like ATB is DJ Sammy's aspiration... ive heard a set from DJ Sammy.. its not that bad.. like mixing and trackselection...

Check out Atb - live @ Trance Energy 2001
I'm not sure about any of his other livesets since, i've forgotten. But i agree Ministry of Sound "Clubber's Guide to Trance" Disc 2 is mint!!!! I love the tracklisting on that one especially the way he ends the cd with Verracocha - Carte Blanche.

I think ATB has some amazing singles, and other than the most popular ones I think Too Much Rain and Underwater World are amazing as well. ATB's simplicity in production is actually a positive aspect, even if this is due to a lack of skill.

His live sets and CD mixes on the other hand, have never inspired me and I do believe "great atb set" is an oxymoron, moron.

Well, I love that compilation!!
Great tracklisting and so on, lots of awsome tracks!
But the mixing is VERY poor IMO. It's not good at all. :/

Totally agree, but the tracklisting is highly reputable!
