Dual cd players...

Just recently I started thinking about taking up DJing as a hobby. I listen to music like it's my job, I figure why not make it productive at least....
I was torn between going for the turntables or the cd decks, and I decided that since I'm just starting out, and that as of now I'm gonna be doing it just as a hobbey, i'd go for the CD decks. I have been told they're a good place to start, and cheaper than the turntables and vinyl. Now I have begun to actually look for a set of decks, and admittedly I really don't know too much about what I'm looking for. I want to get a quality machine,, but I'm not about to spend like $1200 for the Denon 9000. I also don't want some piece of shit. The ones I have looked at so far, and are seriously considering are the following. if anyone can recommend a good one, or give input as to which one is the best and why, I woudl really appreciate it.
Also if you could recommend any that would be amzing as well. Thanks
1. Pioneer CMX 3000 or CMX 5000 (so far this is the one I'm liking the most)

2. Numark CDN90 (cheaper than the Pioneer and Denon)

3. Numark CDN88(seems like almost the same one as the CDN90, maybe an older model)

4. Denon 2600 (most expensive but i like it a lot)

I got the dn 2600's and there real good, i love em but imho i should have gotten the dn 2100's and saved some cash cuz some of the feautyres on the 2600 i never use. I also heard good things about the cmx 3000 by pioneer. If money isnt a issue go with the denons if it is, i would go with either the denon dn 2100's or the cmx 3000.

i have American Dj ones. I know they are cheap and what not, but i have yet to have a problem w/ them. Figure out what your budget is, and stick to it, i dont use any of the features on my other than the pitch and what not.

I have two comments for you, first if you are dead set on getting a dual cd deck, then go right ahead. But I think that single decks are a little bit more versatile and if you break one, you can still use the other one! Not only that, but you don't HAVE to rack mount them like the dual players. But most of this is just personal preference.

I'll list out several things that are important (to me at least) in a cd player to allow for better Djing.

1. Large jog wheel--this way you can tweak things at much smaller intervals than with an itsy bitsy jog wheel.

2. Get a front loading slot--top mounting and front loading trays have the potential to break off, get damaged, start squeaking, get stuck etc etc etc.

3. Look for a decent pitch range. Techs(TT) only go +/- 8%, my TTX1s go +/- 50% (though I usually only use +/- 20%.

4. Effects--your choice if you have them on your mixer, your decks, or both.

5. Lots of crap that you don't think that you will use--why pay for it if you don't plan on using it!

6. Choose a reliable brand--Pioneer is it IMHO, I would suggest staying away from American DJ products, unless you get their higher end scratching deck--pro scratch 1, but I think that it's being discontinued, which also says something!

7. Try to go to a Dj equipment store, Sam ash, Mars Music etc and actually try them out for yourself first before you spend $500-$900. You may find out that you hate the way one deck feels, or another looks etc.

My personal suggestion is to go with Pioneer CMX-3000. The 5000 has a few looping features that the 3000 doesn't have, but the 3000 has wave display, which is neat. Most people don't ever use looping and if they do, they use it on their mixer not their cd deck etc.

Thanks for the input....
Anyone know anything about the Numark CD players? They are moderately priced, and the higher end ones coome with a ton of features.
