Funny Story

Well at least i think its funny.

Feeling very good sunday afternoon but looking like shit because of bt/holden/corsten party i had to drive my parents to waterloo from hamilton. Knowing how important it is to drive listening to a wicked trance set the day after a party, i had my music on but very low. My mom from the back seat politely asked me if i had any "Italian Cds".

So I turned up the volume and popped in a Mauro Picotto set.

lol.. that was sweet of you! That is probably the last thing I would play for my parents. My dad usually gets this look of agitation when he hears any form of dance music.

on a side note: I have a difficult time listening to any beats the day after a party. Back in our BnB after a night at aria last month I requested to hear "the opposite of mauro picotto." I'm all about sigur ros and slowdive the day after a party.

yes, it's all about the chill music. aphex twin's selected ambient works (I and II) and autechre's amber album are quite soothing.
