Cell Phone Bills

I hate paying my cell phone bills.
last month i had like 70 bucks to pay, this month i have now 85

i gotta get a new plan

Posted by j_spot on Mar-12-2003 21:21:

somehow my $50 a month plan + fees+taxes seems to be getting more and more expensive

then I realize I talked 2200 minutes last month..
Ive got a wicked plan, I just talk too much!

250 minutes a month, call id, call waiting id, 10 voicemails, evenings weekend free

Minutes are insanely expensive on cell phones once you go over the limit, and minutes are always rounded up, a 1 second call counts as a minute. Because of this, i use my cell only when no other phone is available.

Well i get 300 minutes a month, and unlimited weekend minutes. free call ID and all the extras for $35 a month, which includes taxes. i dont talk that much on it so it works out good for me. Oh yeah, long distance all across the USA is at no extra charge too.

-----HERE'S A TIP FOR ALL DISSATISFIED-WITH-THEIR-CELL-PHONE-MINUTES-PERSON----

-Call your provider up and tell them some BS excuse to change to another service provider, such as the one I used, which in part is mostly true:

"Hi, I have been going over my minutes alot lately and, considering this is the only phone I have, and being a college student, I can't really afford to pay for the extra minutes I was going over...So basically I guess I am calling to cancel my service."

The catch is, they don't want to lose your service to another provider, they will give you unheard of minute plan for the same price. Sprint gave me 300 more daytime minutes for the same price to stick with their service. Only thing is, you have to renegotiate your contract, which in turn starts your year contract over to day one.

TRUST ME EVERYONE, THIS WORKS EVERYTIME!!!

peace,

Steve

my cell phone is like my best friend. how can anyone not have one these days? too bad i'm ALWAYS over my plan, haha, but mommy and daddy still pay for it. i'm a brat

My phone is temporarily without service until i can find a way to pay for it. It really sucks not having any phone access at all.

Ahh cell phones we love to hate them...
LOL
i hardly ever use my one.. and we call them mobile phones down here in Australia... be cool.. just watch your spending...

Try using them when you only have to.. and if you do don't talk about your day.. lol.. thats just a waste of $$$...

yah here in sweden i just loaded up my mobile again...its a pay per use bastard, but not a complete rip off like in the US.

its hella cheap after 7pm to call, my only problem is that texting is so damn addictive. luckily 27 bucks gets me thru the month! |

i use to have bills up in the hundreds b/c i always went over but i found the best plan for me this past summer...700 minutes, free nights and weekends, free long distance, caller id and all those little nicknacks for $39.99. I rarely go over now and if i do it's not by too much.

King

i just dont use my phone, maybe for the odd prank or txt msg, but thats just abt it

10 a month goes a long way

while on my nreaks in russia, it's rather cheap. the real advantage of cell networks in russia is that we don't have contracts. prepay, than talk... it's quite expensive though. mine was 60 bucks for one month (in russian prices it is quite a lot!!!)

over here, in the usa, i don't need a cellphone - free phone services on campus

you need to upgrade your plan. you shouldn't be paying that much for that few minutes. i get 700 peak minutes per month, unlimited nights and weekend, unlimited txt msging, vm, and call ID nationwide for about $70 after taxes, maybe a little less. i don't actually know what my monthly bill should be cause my phone bill has been $150 - $250 each month for the last few months (i had a new bf).

CHEAP!!!!!

HAHHAA

I pay $20 a month for unlimited nationwide evenings & weekends, and 500 daytime minutes (which i never go over b/c i work during the day). & my plan comes with all the extras (voicemail, caller id, etc...) for free.

But then again, once I quit my job I lose that plan so I'm stuck with my shitty-ass job.

Posted by _Nut_ on Mar-14-2003 19:11:

i pay 69.99 a month for my service. It is a flat rate.

3000 anytime minutes, free nites and weekends. free long distance unlimited text messages etc. Havent gone over the limit yet... gotten close tho..

Phone whore?? maybe.....
