Ultra Morning Breakfast!

OK, I understand some of you are very fragile and need your sleep. Thats ok, we'll see you at Ultra.

For those of us who don't require sleep, I say a good breakfast should start the day off right. I'm not sure of the place that are good down there, but I say somewhere cheap but good, like Waffle House or something.

I know Flo, Liquid and Bobby said they were down for Breakfast in one of the other threads. Thats 5 counting the person I'm bringing. I know some other TA's will be cool with this too. I suggest about 11 we meet somewhere in Miami and have some waffles, bacon, orange juice, and some nice leafy green...

i'll mos def be there. but my concern is about where? there isn't exactly a waffle house right there. but isn't there an ihop or so near downtown??? i dunno. anyone know downtown miami better?

Mmmm.. There is a BK, cheap, but its BK breakfast hehehe the one on south beach, and it would be right on the way to Ultra. Its the only cheap place I know close by.

And I'll most def. try to make it It all depends on the people Im bringing with me hehehe..

there is a BK in a small plaza across bayfront. Last year JayD, his sister, tcfan and I went.

we can go to that one if anything! it is very convenient.

Oohh Really?!?!?! Never seen a BK close by Bayfront. We also forgot that @ Bayside there's plenty of restaurants, though I never payed attention to the prices. That could also be an option, but that BK in front of Bayfront sounds good to me.

BK doesn't have waffles at 11:00AM. lol. Where else is there? I guess it won't matter by then, cus I'll be hungry as fuck. What all is by Bayfront?

There's some vintage looking chrome exterior diner in SoBe on Washington Ave somewhere, but I'm not sure how their food is, or their prices. There's also Denny's on Collins @ 31st (is their food edible even?). I would kill for an IHOP (none here in Canada, & Golden Griddles here should not even qualify as food), but I'm not sure if there are any IHOP's in the area. What about News Cafe on Ocean Dr? Just some suggestions. I could make it to a breakfast in SoBe, but I dunno if I could venture to downtown Miami at that hour. But don't wait on me....

i was mistaken. the ihop is on 24th and biscayne. which is like 24 blocks north of where ultra is. its not toooo far, but i'm thinking something on the beach might just be better then, since thats where most people are staying. i don't really suggest denny's on 31st, cuz it SUCKS. there is an ihop on 40th, on miami beach. but i dunno how everyone would get there. other than those ideas, i think we're stuck with the bk and mickey d's and miami sub's that are in downtown miami. i really don't care, but breakfast would be awesome.

OooooH, I would very much like to meet for breakfast!

Now if only I could drive myself from Naples to Miami early. I do have a car, but I'm not sure it will make it across the Everglades.

alright. i'm gonna give it another 2 days. if no one else strongly disagrees to the ihop on 24th and biscayne at 10:30-11 in the morning before ultra, then i'll make this official!

my vote is for ihop too.

j_spot, collins is on miami beach and biscayne is on the mainland, you have to cross macarthur causeway (that really long land bridge going to miami beach). but i wouldn't worry about it too much. i live on miami beach too, so if anyone doesn't have any idea where they are going, i'm more than willing to meet up with some people on the beach and help them find the way to ihop/ultra.

here is what I know about miami

its hot
there is a beach
there is water nearby
I am there next week..actually in 39 hours(HOLY SHIT!)

Just a reminder about BK- breakfast is not served after 10:30/ 11am I believe. So, if u want breakfast, go to IHOP.

And about eating breakfast.. is not like Im really into a formal breakfast..hehehe Subway is nice too!

yeah. its all good. stay with me! hehehe. as of now i still might get a ride with a friend from tally. depends if she gets a free ticket to ultra or not from a friend. but if not, i'm taking greyhound down to gville and then catching a ride with you to miami. and yeah i know my way around, so no getting lost.
