Vinyl Pressing
Hi does anybody know where i can do vinyl pressing in Sydney...
I wanna press 2 exclusive songs on vinyl but i don't know where they do it for CHEAP.
I went to CSR and they said 100 dollars and the quality will be shit...
Any other option that i can find vinyl pressing very cheap and the quality to being the best.
you can't press 2 tracks
like the dude at CSR said, you can press them as acetates but the quality will be shocking and they have a life of I think 5 or so plays?
if you wanna press a vinyl you gotta do it in bulk and its very expensive
Are you serious?, DAMN.
So there is no where else that will do it for 2 songs that is.
acetate dub plates are said to hold at the most 30 plays depending on how they are cut.
learn more about the subject here -> www.vinylium.ch
don't bother with vinyl, the expense is in the master press molds and ... well if you're pressing only two vinyls, don't even bother.
CD R all the way baby
it's sad but it's that way
yeah, even the pro's use CDR to play promo/unreleased tracks, its quite common, armin does it all the time.
There is another way;
Vestax released a vinyl 'cutter' rather than a press.
Now, im not sure of life of cut vinyls, but this seems like it would be an easier way to go.
The setup costs abt $18 000, so only businesses really would have them.
I havent looked into much, just saw the contraption when i went to buy my decks

theres a place over heree in osaka japan that has a vinyl cutter so if worse comes to worse and you really want a song cut i can hook it up for ya!!! dont know exactly how muchb it is but i know it aint cheap cause each blank record costs like $20 then each needle costs like $200 and they can only cut up to 10 records before wearing out or whatever!!!
anys if ya want something cut i can get it done over here!
