Gouryella and Out of the Blue

Gouryella by Gouryelle
and Out of the Blue by system F

Okay! Explain this to me! Are these same songs?
I gather that Gouryella is system F and Tiesto.
however, there are two separate videos. Yet the songs sound...VERY VERY VERY similar. (unless my Mp3s are mixed are actually two identical songs.)

In my mind, Gouryella is one of the top notch songs! A classic, along with Heaven Scent by Digweed and Cups by Underwolrd.

What am I MISSING?

Why are there TWO songs instead of ONE?
ugh...these Djs should really stick to a ONE name. Ferry Corsteen, System F...ugh...

Posted by budahbro on Mar-18-2003 05:38:

whenever my playlist hits gouryella i quickly grab my headphones and plug them in even though its a bitch to do, and just crack it up and start knock'n

Posted by sash on Mar-18-2003 05:44:

gouryella sounds sorta like doo-dooo-doooo-de-dooo-dooo-dooooo
whereas out of the blue is more like doo-de-dooo-dooo-doooo

Heres some info :

Gouryella is a collaboration between: Ferry Corsten and Dj Tiesto, except Tiesto didn't work on Ligaya, instead that Cosmicman guy helped on the track.

System F is another alias which Ferry Corsten uses, he has many of them. But system f is not a collaboration between any two artists its just ferry by himself.

Gouryella - Ligaya is a song from 2002 classic tune. (collaboration)

System F - Out of the blue (alone)

I have no clue how the two songs could sound the same cause i really believe they don't. Maybe your mp3's were mistitled or something????

haha, i like; thats good.

as for Dis...

System F : Ferry Corsten
Gouryella : Ferry Corsten & DJ Tiesto [Tijs Verwest]

"Out of the Blue" is one of Ferry's frist productions; he wrote it when he was 17, i believe.

"Gouryella" is Gouryella's first song that was written; later followed by "Walhalla" [Great tune too]. In addition, Armin Van Buuren remixed "Walhalla", which, yet again, is a great tune.

Exactly.. as far as i know, Matti has nothing to do with Ligaya.

Posted by Robert on Mar-18-2003 10:07:

matti has nothing to do with it, it was john ewbank.
in the old days system f used to be with robert smit aswell. and ferry didnt make out of the blue when he was 17, the track would be over 10 years old if that were true.

Wasn't the cosmicman guy, was a guy who helped ferry arrange the song, can't think of the name but it sounded English to me, ferry named him on an interview @ GK sunday..... The new gouryellas will be the same, with other people helping out on arrangements & stuff

They're totally different. You must have two copies of the same song...

Gouryella and Out of the Blue are a similar style but actually do have a different sound, if that makes any sense. In any case they're both mega-happy tracks that I don't really like.

Posted by Helta on Mar-18-2003 13:43:

The Gouryella - Gouryella video is a really poorly animated african guy running around, if I remember rightly...

Adagio For Strings RMX, anf Ligaya sound slmost identical too

There's a significant difference between sounding the same and having the same structure/idea.

Yes, Adagio for Strings and Ligaya are structurally the same and use the same idea but the melodies are completely different.

a gun is still a gun and it still fires bullets

ok, that made no sense

Guns can misfire too

Posted by capricorn15 on Mar-18-2003 16:44:

you guys are all talking a bunch of nonsense, he was not asking about all gouryella tracks and shit.
the two songs sound slightly the same.
if on your mp3s they both sound the same, why dont you re download and see, because they are not the same song

Good point! I wonder...
Whatever, it's crazy dutch melodic trance at it's finest.
