Mauro Picotto's headphones
hmmm I think I've seen somebody already asking this some months ago, but I've searched and didn't found anything so I'm gonna ask again; I find Picotto's fluorescent (sp?) headphones quite cool, and I have Sennheiser's HD-280 which are great and all, but I think they lack some appeal looks-wise; anyways I'd love to transform my headphones into something like Mauro's, but what should I do? paint it?
I've no idea! Any suggestions?
Cheers!
i think those headphone's picotto has are sony...
you should see the headphones he was sporting in toronto last weekend
psychadelic blue or something
His Sony 700 Yellow ones were painted by a fan and given to him as a present. I hav no idea how the fan wouldve painted them without getting paint all over important holes/connections etc tho, but they look top good!
Can anyone upload a pic of them or something i wanna see em!!!!
here is a site w/ a picture of him w/ 'em...

i dont see them being that hard to do... just time consuming, all you gotta do is tape up what you dont want painted... either that, or you can unskrew the headphones and take them apart and paint each piece seperate
really nice, how much are they worth?
apart from THIS pic being funny, in the lower right corner you can see a bit of his new blue-painted sonys...
once on ebay i saw dark-red painted sonys.
the only thing i know is that they are not factory-produced and are customely painted. it should be quite easy.
too bad v700 breaks so fast

those blue ones look better than the yellow ones!
easiest way is too unscrew the covers and paint them with spray paint! just make to tape up anything you dont wanna paint!
Kay guys thanks for the feedback!
I'll see what I can do, I just hope I don't fuck my headphones up lol
