lol

yeah, summer hasn't even STARTED yet!

is there a summer's beginning party?

Posted by DigiNut on Mar-19-2003 15:01:

This summer is never going to end, I don't care what the flyer says.

I haven't quite figured out how to make this happen yet, but I'll let everyone know what my plan is when it's clear to me... right now it's something involving a 10-kilowatt nuclear heater, several halogen floodlights, sunglasses, and a truckload of AK-47's...

No Seriously, I know I am gonna go despite all that. Someone is gonna be there that I really wanna see. but is it not yet a little early to advertise? I mean, today is the last day of winter for pete's sake.

...or just move here

Curacao's Climate
Located in the tropics, just 12 degrees from the equator, Curaao has a warm, sunny climate year round. The average temperature is about 27C (in the mid 80s).

I'd love to... got a place for me to stay?

We should get a bunch of TOTA's to pitch in and rent a condo in one of these places, skip 6 months of school/work and party on the beaches...

lol...you hit it right on. I hope this year there are other alternatives to this bullshit. That would be nice...two years ago we drove by the Guv, saw the insane line-up and headed straight for the iDance after-party at Palais. Had a waaaay better time than anyone I talked to that went to Guv. But hell this is waaaaay too early to be talking about the end of summer! We're waiting for it to start for crying out loud!!

However, please sign me up for a case of that gino repellant. Will need it for throughout the summer.

Posted by charmscars on Mar-19-2003 18:24:

I was annoyed w/ the situation last year, but still had a good time. I'm guessing this year will be better. I will most likely hit this up depending on who is going to be there.

Posted by LKD on Mar-19-2003 18:26:

i was there only last year...dunno about previous ones...my only complain was moving between rooms...other than that, i found plenty of place up front..(its where u always fins space at events)

Posted by E2EK1EL on Mar-19-2003 22:52:

Depending on which headliners are coming for Trance and Jungle, I'll think about it ... other then that, no way.

Posted by itikia on Mar-20-2003 00:02:

Wait a minute here, is this the same Summer's End party that's happening at Guv??

Yes, the "summer beginning party" is called noneother than the Victoria Day May 24 weekend. Last year I saw Timo Maas (:eek , and Sharam from Deep Dish (meh...).

An alternative to Guvt on Summer's End? Oh please say yes...that would be awesome. If not, I say look into it...ALOT of us would rather an alternative...especially Viva. If we absolutely have to end the summer, then that would be an awesome way to do it.

Posted by E2EK1EL on Mar-20-2003 06:50:

I hope Empire & Destiny wakes up and join forces for Labour day ... throw a party that can fill 10,000 ppl !!!

Since LifeForce is gone ... it's our only hope for a massive Labour Day party that is not at the GUV.

WOW, Swamper is THUG now ... damn !!!

<--- This is a pic of Swamper ... he's ready for the GOLD teeth to be placed in

Oh yeah I just recently invented it. It smells like normal Vegtable oil but it is not. I SWEAR! I even got Dr. Nick Riviera to be my official spokesperson, . He also helped me invent. I should goto bed I am getting crazy. Like that dude keeps telling me in thos Ikea Commercials

Posted by Special K on Mar-20-2003 14:54:

People! Summers End ie. every long weekend party BEFORE Labor of Love last year were put on by MWE. Remember the ones with Oakie, Erick Morillo, Timo + Dave Clarke as headliners?! Well they werent involved with it last year for some reason I dont know so im assuming that this year they'll be putting on their own HUGE MASSIVE party. With lots and lots of TECHNO, HOUSE and D'N'B acts!
