March Madness??

I cant believe we are less than 24hrs away and there is still no thread of anything about the NCAA bball tournament,... its probably the 2nd biggest event in US sports behind the superbowl and no thread... i dont get it.. ok anyway people, list some of who you think are some good upsets and your final 4 and champ.....

tomorrow will be insane i cant wait,... i was upset that i had to pass up Wake Forest and Florida tickets this weekend,... but it was for the WMC so im not too heartbroken GO GATORS!!!

I hate the final four, I hate baskteball in general, I hate the way espn won't be showing very many (if at all) NHL games down this final stretch of the season before the playoffs. Flame me if you want but basketball has got to be one of the most overrated sports there is.

ok, before i vent in disagreement too much ill throw out some points,... NHL is ice hockey,.. where i live it hasnt snowed in 25 years and there is never ice much less ice to skate on,... only about 2/3 of the country can even skate if they wanted to,... and 95% of the players aren't even american,... sure its great for canada b/c they can actually play it,... but for US we need more weather friendly sports,... i live in Tampa and we have a pretty decent team this year and we sell out our arena all the time, but you know who is in it?? the snow birds who live in NY and Penn and Mich who like hockey and buy our tickets,...

if you really want a small taste of what im talking about read this article... i know its another link and all but it truely is where my passion lays behind, this defines why im obsessed the way i am about NCAA march madness...

ill give you the fact that NBA is absolutly ridiculous and is overrated and players are paid way too much,... NFL and NCAA march madness are the 2 best things in sports, then game 7s of NBA NHL and World Series

Sorry for taking this off-topic but I know how the weather is in Tampa and except for the winter months it's too damn hot to be playing hockey. I like to play street hockey since ice hockey is way too fuckin expensive for a poor s.o.b. like myself. The only place to play is at a basketball court a block down the street. 99.9% of the time I want to go shoot around there are people playing basketball and it gets pretty irritating. This has been going on since I started playing around 10 years ago and it could be part of the reason I have such resentment for b-ball.

of course im routin for my school.... U of A baby!!!! 'zona is gonna take this shit all the way

omg!! that maryland vs uncw game was CRAZY!!!!! that last second buzzer beater has to be one of the hardest ever; speaking on degree of difficulty. 5 secs left, dribbles coast to coast, from the left side of the court to the right, dodges 2 players, and 1 guy in his face, literally, and plus a one-handed shot while he was fading away and to his right, and then NOTHING but net. probably nobody cares except for me, but i dont care, ive never gone crazier watching a game than i did with that. though the korea-italy round of 16 game is pretty up there. but anywhos, yes kentucky will go all the way. they are playing damn well right now, and their defense is like a swarm of bees, u get hardly any clearly open shots against them.

I did an exchange program at UTexas and am a huge hoops fan and love college hoops so I'm very excited about the final four this year, I would have to think Texas have a very good shot at winning the whole thing now

I only have one of the final 4. at least you have 2 lol. And i had the 7 of the 8 picks you made for the elite 8. I had Texas instead of UConn. Obviously i didnt do well wit the picks either lol
