oldy but goody

I just wanted to express that Sasha's Global Underground Ibiza CD2 is absolutely AMAZING! I know it's fairly old, but it is still SO good. I have it in my car right now and have had it in there for the past week, there is no need to change CD's either! Sasha is brilliant in my opinion, and this set is nothing short of spectacular.

i was listening to this cd a few days back.. its so extremely trancegelic its heavenly...

ahhh reminds me othe days of pre 99 summer of love style days...

If only were a child of trance again... now im an adult... and those days will never be same again...

if i am correct u like trance people right? well i dont remember when was the last time Sasha had anything to do with trance.

lol @ micheline

i think you will find that alot of people around here love sasha, as a form of progressive trance. alot of ta's enjoy varying styles of dance music, and isnt just limited to a general club trance sound that you may pigeonhole us to.

Same here, I've been listening to that cd alot lately. It's sooo perfect. Starts out with BT - Fibonacci Sequence with it's funky beat and sweet melody, kicks into high gear with Paganini Traxx - Zoe (Timo Maas Remix), then comes the best song ever: Cass & Slide - Perception, keeps the energy going with P.O.B. - The Fly then you enter trance heaven with Sasha - Xpander, Bluefish - One brings you back down, and then BT - Mercury & Solace is just pure eurphoria, as then comes Acquila - Dreamstate (LSG Mix) which adds a "techy" type edge to things, and then you enter Junkie XL - Future in Computer Hell with breakz and all followed by a perfect mix into the classic Bedrock - Heaven Scent.

Pure Magic!!!

Damn, I'm going to go listen to that right now

This brings up another question.

Oh yes, check out his Essential Mixes from a couple year back. Great stuff!!!

best cd ever.

may i state i like the cd1 too almost as much as the cd 2... the sander kleinenberg tracks.. Natious - Amber, totally amazing stuff.

I'd say the name for this style is "deep trance", anyone got recent tunes with similar feeling..? i guess this died around 99, too bad

CD1 >>> CD 2

Love Poundin' Sensation

i used to be an avid advocate of CD2 being superior to CD1. But after paying closer attention to CD1 I must say that it is just as good, if not better, than CD2 (depending on my mood).

Sander K's My Lexicon and Sacred, as well as Natious - Amber being my highlights of the disc. magical! it's such involving stuff..
although CD2 does have its equally magical moments-
Fibonacci Sequence is a brilliant opener! Cass & Slide's Perception, as well as Xpander, Mercury and Solace and then Heaven Scent..awesome!

GU013, one of my favourites of all time.
