anti war?
a few quotes for you about saddams regime..

Exactly. Thats why all this anti war shit pisses me off. Saddam needs to be removed from power and Iraq returned to its people.
um, in case you hadn't noticed, he's probably already dead.
and the reason I was/am against this war, is that North Korea is a far more pressing problem....

About 3 weeks ago I changed my mind about this war, I watched some documentary about the reigme in Iraq on discovery or History don't ask how I watched them channels I was just channel hopping anyways. He is fucked in the head, I saw this Baath party conforence with about 200 of Saddams minsters sitting in a massive hall, it was recorded on Iraqi tv, and it had Saddam reading out a list of about 25 people who were supposidly against him in his party even though it was a random list it was like the purges some these blokes hadn't done a thing to him and he read out their names some sat their with dignity and got pulled out their chair by soldiers others stoud up and pleaded they were innocent, others just sobbed, out all the ppl who got called out only 2 ended up surviving after being tortured for days and being told they were to go into exile.
And if anyone thinks that Qusays bad, his older son Uday is 100Xs worse, Saddam got a second wife which to Uday dishonoured his mother, he found out who introduced Saddams second wife to him and it was Saddams food tester, their was supposidly a meal in hounour of Egyptian president so Uday walked in with a baseball bat or an axe handle and bludgeoned this food tester to death in front of about 200 people his punishment. Sent to Geneva to work at the Iraqi Embassy.
In this I think everys open to their views with this war however, If you protest I think your fucking stupid, as you will not stop the war Washington and Whitehall are the only ones who can stop this war, and all your doing is wasting the polices time, they have to watch and check these protests run smoothly, it takes 100s of cops to look after these protests doing that your leaving this country unsecure your giving terrorists an open window to carry out attacks as the cops are too busy dealing with fucking spastic school kids, and Eton school toffs.
I know people who are against this war, but one thing they are doing is supporting the troops if you do that and you fucking should, its honourable and it shows to me you have guts and pride.
And North Korea do they scare me NO! their little bastards if it did kick off in North Korea I'll fight I'll fucking massacre the little bastards their fucking chior boys.

i actually posted them as harry, and i just want to say i dont really give a shit. i posted it to get peopel in a huff about something which neither concerns or affects them (unless theyre shagging a squaddie)
let me think how much this war is going to affect my life.

millions of people die every year from starvation, flooding etc, but nobody really cares about them. one rule for some and one for another as they say.
also most anti war people are jsut bandwagons jumpers that protest for peace top feel liek theyve done somethign good or charitable, why dont you give money to help starving children then? oh wait, it costs you money, and anti war protesting doesnt. sily me.

I agree with ste that most of the "Anti-War" protestors are "bandwagons jumpers that protest for peace top feel liek theyve done somethign good or charitable"
Most of them are most likely "hippie" natured and have no clue to what goes on with saddams regieme or any clue of politics.
And i am more than 90% certain that if a suicide iraqi bomber killed a member of a anti-war protestor's family or friend that their opinion on the war would change.
I went to school with a 40 Royal Marine Commando who is currently front line, aswell as one of my best mates who is in the signals which is why i am interested in the subject.
No the war doesnt effect me directly, but that doesnt mean to say the best way to deal with issues is to not give a fuck or. "get over it". If no-one gave a fuck about anything what sort of world would the place be?
P.S How shit are the american forces??

I know what goes on in saddams regime, what i don't like is the fact that it's bush who's doing it. i don't trust him or rumsfield as far as i could throw them.
no band wagon hopper here, i've been protesting 4 10 years. not as much as i used to though, seen too many police stations from the inside...
