What is the answer?

I see lots of ppl here saying "War isn't the answer"
So I thought I'd start a topic about this.
If war isn't the answer, what is?

How would "Saddam N Gang" be removed with out military actions (in this case War)?

I'm interested in what u all have to say about this.
Feel free to post your opinions.

I discussed it with some girl the other day...she said we should wait and hope for a inner collapse communism-style. I tried to explain to her that u can't compare communsm to dictatorships like theese and that the communist collapse was also kinda acclerated by MILITARY defeats

Yeah and how much longer where u gonna wait for it to collapse?
He has been running things "succesfully" for quite some time and I cant see how it would collapse with out this war that we have on our hands right now.
War is IMO the only option but I'm not an expert on this subject so if u guys have anyother solutions then war, plz tell enlighten me!

Continued weapons inspections and an end to UN-imposed sanctions on Iraq.

Obviously there is more than one answer war is a tool of the past.. do human beeings walk on there hands and feet or have we learned to walk?.. well.. im sure we can find another solution if there wasnt one person making all the decisions. so what is the answer?

response is war.. but thats the incorrect answer

the correct answer is?.. i dont know.. but UN inspections is a good step

There is no immediate danger from iraq to teh US .. i mean north korea actually has a nuke.. and so far no chem weapons.. and even if they do find them.. its still not a justifiable reason to decimate and take over the country

War sometimes is the answer, but I think this war was sort of rushed. The UN inspections were making actual progress and it was obvious that Saddam bends over when threatened.

But what I really don't like about this war is not so much the war itself, but the american attitude towards it. Sure, Saddam is a dictator that needs to go, but the way americans are doing it is not the way it should have been done. First, the US says it's certain about Saddam having chemicals, while at the same time refusing to say to the UN inspectors where they are. Secondly, their so called evidence is very obscure and could have been fabricated easily. Third, they do it against the will of the UN. And of course, with such evidence, no wonder the other SC members were suspicious. Then, when it doesn't succeed with the UN, blame it all on France. Of course France isn't going to support the US considering the anti-french rhetoric of Bush and Rumsfeld. Also the breach of UN resolutions in order to punish a breach of an UN resolution is hypocrisy. Fourth, saying that they're going to war to liberate Iraqi people is obviously not a reason, but a sideffect. Fifth, Bush's attempts at connecting Al Quaeda and Saddam are rediculous and it's imo insulting to attempt to make people fall for that.
