as far as message boards goes (layout and physical message board design) this site really is spectacular i just wanted to say even though i dont frequent as much as i used too and have seen a fair few other message boards this one really is the best in terms of ease and functionality, great stuff i wish every internet msg board was like this... seriously this is not a attempt to kiss some corporate TA ass but really... i just logged in under the bottom right and thought... damn is there anything it cant do

Amen to that!!! This board definitely is top of the line in features and functionality. Another board I post on switched to vBulletin but it looks like shit.

Big up to Swamper. I don't think this board needs any changes ever at all. It's perfect the way it is.

There are some things that need changing however.. small cosmetic changes anyways, but nothing huge.

A LOT has been changed from the default vbulletin setup, so much so that it takes me about 2-3 hours to put back all the changes whenever the board software gets upgraded...

Last night I switched things around so that 'search' is now performed on another server, the only problem is that the database is only updated on that server every night (I may change it to twice a day) - but since most search results ppl are looking for aren't for the current day I don't see it as much of an issue -- what I wanted to avoid was the problem experienced in the past weeks where ppl would do a search and until its results were displayed it would bottleneck the mysql(database) server and keep ppl waiting from doing the normal stuff (viewing threads/posting/etc)

...also the Unknown Tracks section was fixed up too, so u can click the green play button on the thread display list to listen to a track (been there a while) - but the change is that now inside the thread you can click/listen to the file instantly instead of downloading the whole thing b4 winamp streams it. Or you're in for a long session of IDing just go to www.UnknownTracks.com and listen in.

It's stuff like this that delays me from updating the livesets/videos - which need some new content badly.

true that, this board has the biggest community feel to it imo

also, i love the colour scheme, other boards have white and other ugly colours, this just makes you feel at home
