Presentation of the Representation

Warning : Another Iraqui War Thread

Guyz, I was wandering .. I've seen the media, the governments, and everyone else, trying to present this war and it's goals in various ways, probably in an attempt to withdraw support to their side... I was wondering which of those do you find true, which of those do you find legitimate but false, and which of the are false, and also those who are false and make you fruious ...

A few examples:

-A war for democracy and for ethics
-A war for the Muslim global community
-A war for the Arab global community
-A war for the survival of the western world/ The US
-A war for financial or political interests such as oil or the upcoming elections

I personally have thought of opening this thread relating to the Arab, and Muslim aspects ... I currently haven't decided whether these are legitimate or not... I'm puzzled to see if many will be convinced that the whole Muslim religion or the whole Arab community should fight this fight against... the christians/ jews/ americans/ zionists/ western/ ... / ...

Your thoughts?

well it sure as hell aint a war against Arabs or Muslims. In that case all of Middle East/North Africa would be in flames.

the war, in my belief, has to do with many different things, one of them being plain and simple removing saddam from power. he doesn't want to get his shit together when requested by the global community.

I personally would like to denounce all of the above..

I feel that we are in an era where war is not necessary unless the world community agrees that the country is a threat to the world

There are always diplomatic methods in dealing with countries.. creating sanctions like the UN did.. and following through them and making sure that they are being followed through investigation. Such as what the UN was diong before the war.. WAR just leads to more war

open any history book and you will find that we got democracy because of war and also lost it because of war.. to keep democracy we must USE it. not vito the right when we are president and head off to war with no basis.

so i am against war.. unless IT needs to be used as a last resort.. which was definately not the case in this war going on now
