Talking Banners On DC Hub. WTF

Has anyone else ever heard this? Have you ever been scared by it? I thought it was the devil one time or some shit.

Man, happends to me.. I'll be listening to a song or something thinking it was part of the track and im like wtf is that shit?? Sometimes I thought it was your computer talking to me, most of the time im like "wtf is that". Then I find out and im thinking now banners can talk.

Maybe im the only one.. But im sure alot of you know what im talking about.

yeah i know exactly what you're talking about. these are very annoying. the one that started today scared the hell out of me because it was a new one i'm not used to hearing. so it REALLY scared me as my speakers were on pretty loud.

i even clicked on the banner, it went to a website which i closed out of, but then it talked WITHOUT THE BANNER EVEN SHOWING!!!

WTF!!!!!

It's nothing affiliated with the EMC hub, it's just the program Direct Connect. There are several alternatives to DC though, DC++ for example, which doesn't have banner ads. Go get it! I'd post the URL for the site at which you can download D++ but I don't have it... I'm sure someone else will post it.

DC++ is made by some people who thought DC sucked, so they decided to do something better.
