Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Archive

I came across this amazing site the other day. Have been reviewing the films hosted on it and have found them to be great documentaries.

Considering this is a political discussion forum, and many of our threads involve Israel, I'd thought that posting this website would be appropriete.

"The Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Archive holds over 3,000 titles on film and video, constituting the largest collection of Jewish documentary film footage in the world. The vaults contain material shot in Israel before and after the establishment of the State in 1948, motion picture records of many Jewish communities in the Diaspora and two special collections relating to the Holocaust."

It hosts films such as:
'A State Is Born' - 1949
-documentary of the foundation of the State of Israel

'Target: Peace' - 1968
-A report for the Israel emergency fund on the situation in Israel a year after the six-day war.

'Day of Decision' - 1957
-documentary about the 1947 UN vote on the partition of Palestine.

Other films include topics such as immigration, health, arts, Kebutzim, Security, settlements, cities, and much more.

Other related topics to Israel and the Jewish people include:
Jewish communities of the world, the holocaust, pre-state, and Israel's World reknown Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
