interview with scott ritter, former UN weapons inspector
he says the US will lose this war...
Thorn in the side of the American administration, and former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter, has warned that America will lose the Iraq war and the American military: "will leave Iraq with its tail between its legs."
In an interview with Irish radio, Mr. Ritter said that the conflict would become an "absolute quagmire," and the US-UK advance would stall outside Bhagdad and fail to capture the city.

keep in mind that this man is a gulf war veteran, and has a good deal of experience
intresting, now whats more intresting is if the US media will give any coverage to this guy.
Al Jazeera just mentionned that the US lost 24 soldiers near Nasriyah, 2 british and 2 new british POW...
I dont think that the coalition will loose, it will be hard tho. Also remains to be seen how the iraqis resistence will be labeled once the war's over, yes you guessed it "terrorists"! laughable.
I have international satellite and the lack of information these American networks espouse on the public is ridiculous. I have seen some ghastly war casualties that havent even been mentioned in N. American Tv. What is prevelant in western media with respect to analyzing this war is markers held by ex-generals and colonels who "help" conceptualize the football game like battlefield of iraq by drawing out and circling what has happened or will happen.
The other night Jesse ventura went on ass Msnbc's new "expert" and he explained that this war was novel, that it included the media alongside the troops making it... get this... "politically correct"
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
What a fucking idiot!
Lol, a politically correct war. So it's ok to kill and massacre people as long as you're not insulting them in the process?
Anyway, it's funny how western media is currently more censored than the arab one, Al Jazeera. I just watched BBC yesterday evening, and they put up shots from Al Jazeera, but censored them because "the images are too gruesome to see". Damn it, most people who watch the news aren't emotionally unstable 5 year olds.
yes, good thing we have the internet! at least we can visit dozens of websites of newspapers from all over the world, and thus get a broader view of whats happening
